The waitlist numbers are set. The grade that you received will not move you up. Because that would possibly displace everyone including accepted students. If you were to apply another time then it will be apart of your GPA. Students who were accepted conditionally only needed a C+ to pass the class and therefore keep their seats. There really should be more info available to students about the application process and how students are selected. Best of luck.

CT-CCNP 2019/2020 APPLICATION
Essentially it's an electronic group for the NVCC nursing class of 2022. Not everyone registered yet because there are currently 116 students in the team's group. Apparently students are added at different times. Some students were added last week. I was added today. We are added by the allied health secretary whether we are registered or not. Furthermore accepted students have until June 05 to register.

For those who would like an update on NVCC nursing seats, based on our Microsoft Team group about 116 students accepted their seats. In our orientation, one of our professors announced that we will start with 125 students. Im not sure if this means that all seats are taken. 7 of the team members shown are owners and therefore are not students.

I can understand that it's disheartened for you the fact that you didn't get in. But every single student that got admitted over the years earned their spot. Whether it be through the ranking process or random selection. Keep your fingers crossed and you might still get a seat. If not retake classes and up your GPA so that you can rank. Good luck .

Chem grade competitive enough for NCC?
, The one thing that I have learned is that thinking about how competitive the grades that you have are will drive you insane or even defeat you before the battle is completed. Take it a day at a time, A class at a time, and one grade at a time. Think in the now. Never give up. Take some time to feel what you need to feel then shake it off. There is always the option to retake chem. You don't know what your bio grades will be. Shake it off hun. head back to the drawing board. Don't be too hard on your self. Continue on your journey. Your journey isn't completed therefore things can still turn out way better than you think. I had to shake off the disappointment and retake several classes it wasn't easy but I picked my self up and continued on my journey. I went from 3.6 to 3.9.

Chem grade competitive enough for NCC?
It really does depends on your overall GPA which creates a balance. So if you have all As in your other 4 credit courses it might not affect your GPA or your competitiveness. My sister received a B in chem, she had a B+ in another 4 credit course. Her GPA came out to a 3.7, she had a 56 on her TEAS an A in A&P 1 and her rank # came out to an 86.4% she got accepted into NVCC. My rank# was an 89.3% Hope that helped.

Random selection is actually used to select applicants who didn't get into the program by the ranking system after 75% of seats are filled. For GWCC This is about 42 students. That number is your position on the waitlist which means that all the accepted students would have to turn down their seat for you to get an offer of admission. Every year only about 30 to maybe 40 students get called off the waitlist. The only thing you can try to do is up your GPA or your TEAS score. Best of luck.
