I was actually accepted into the program even though I had a B in gen Chem AND orgo(Chemistry is obviously not my thing). I was just lazy when it came to those classes but if you study and try to grasp the content you will be fine!

Also Anny how did your psych class transfer? I took psych 1000 at Hunter but it’s transferring as Elec 1000 I don’t know if the nursing dept at City tech will accept that.

Hey Anny I am also a Hunter Student trying to transfer to city tech and I have the same questions as you. I got an A for psych and English 101 at Hunter and was wandering if that would count towards the GPA of the 4 key courses when applying to the nursing program at city tech.

I emailed Maria yesterday and she told me we hear back mid June.

I'm not sure but I think they are. I think they want to see who picks CR/NC and that’s why they delaying it.

Yeah it’s for the generic program I asked her about. They should really just send everyone and update, they keep changing the dates adding on to everyone’s anxiety.

I emailed ----------------------- yesterday telling her that people keep saying we getting our acceptance may 15th and others are saying June. She told me we are getting the scores June ?

Oh WOW! that makes me feel better. I think we get results this week I’m feeling anxious.

Hey guys, GPA: 3.83 PAX: 122 do you guys think I have a chance with these scores? I think the PAX brings my chances down ?

Hi Guys, I am currently a student at Hunter I applied to the nursing program feeling a bit discouraged. I GPA for my pre reqs is 3.8 but I got a 122 on the pre entrance exam. 122 is like 78th percentile. I’m feeling discouraged as I read other threads and everyone else seems to get in with a 135+. Is there anyone that has gotten in the nursing program at Hunter with my kind of scores? ?
