I received my email of acceptance to GCC weekends/FPU! 81.37 points

I am applying to GCU. I am a little discouraged because my points are low but if I do not get in this cycle then for Dec cycle I will have my AA completed and that would help my points by 2.5. So we shall see how this cycle looks like. I might retake the HESI but I don't feel like paying the $122. I paid $40 at EMCC in Feb and I was going to retake it this month but of course now I can't. I was calculating my GPA with my whole classes instead of calculating it with only the required classes LOL I am glad the advisor helped me with that.

Nothing changed but just to make sure you know the exact points ☺️

I strongly recommend to everyone to make sure the advisor at the university of your choice tells you what your points are and don’t calculate them yourself. Just so you can be 100% sure of what points you have. I went from what I though it was 81.05 to a high 78 points ? I am still going to apply since there might not be a lot of people applying this cycle due to COVID. anyone out there applying with a 78?

I calculated my points on my own BUT I will have my final points total by the end of the month since my Bio 202 class got extended until the 22nd.

Thank you! the advisor told me that GCC is more competitive than EMCC. He thinks that people got in with a high 79 last cycle. I am staying positive! This whole process is stressful. I already submitted my first application in February so at least I am done with that part LOL

Hey everyone! I will be applying for CEP at the end of May. I have to wait for my bio 202 class to finish (it was extended two weeks, ugh!) My 1st choice is GCC, 2nd EMCC, and 3rd Gateway. The university choice is FPU. Overall points 81.05 I was going to retake the HESI this month but I am still waiting to see if I will be able to. GCC advisor told me that the last application cycle was about 81.93, whereas the one last May was 80.5.
