  1. There weren’t any specifics about shows. I went ahead and emailed them though, so I’m just waiting to hear back and can update once I hear back!
  2. Don’t quote me on it, but I believe in the first orientation video it said that classes are online and labs/clinical we will have to show up to campus for (but it could all change at any moment)
  3. The first one was roughly 15 minutes, second one was roughly 20 minutes, third one was roughly 2 minutes, and the fourth one was roughly 20 minutes!
  4. Yes! https://www.facebook.com/groups/2575100762740590/?ref=share
  5. Is anyone else having an issue buying the scrubs? It was fine adding them into the cart, but when I try to go to "secure checkout," it won't load/go into the checkout window. I tried it on firefox and safari, and it's just not working for me ?
  6. If you’re interested and haven’t joined already, I created a facebook group for Cohort 4! I included a link below for it! https://www.facebook.com/groups/2575100762740590/?ref=share
  7. When I called earlier, the earliest date/time they had for an appt. was July 6th at 1:15. So I definitely know their appt. slots are filling up quickly
  8. I called the number in the middle about an hour ago and was able to get someone!
  9. @rrodriguez212 I know it’s kinda late tonight but I have one question! Do you know what they’re leaning towards for their plan for fall clinicals? I know they’re saying that things could change any minute and to be prepared because of COVID-19, but I wasn’t sure if they had an idea as of now what they were going to do!
  10. Are uniforms/scrubs worn during lectures as well? Not sure cause I know a few other places only require them to be worn for lab/clinicals, so not sure if HCC has certain requirements
  11. I don’t think these are bad questions! I’m sure a lot of individuals are wondering the same thing! And how many scrubs and what the specifics are. I don’t really know HCC’s dress code. I think it all would depend on if we have to wear them for classes every single day or only certain days (for me at least)! Also there are so many different types of stethoscopes, so I was confused as to which one to get as well.
  12. I created a facebook group for the Plant City cohort! https://www.facebook.com/groups/2575100762740590
  13. I would possibly contact the health admissions office. From what I was told, all the emails were sent out, but their server was backed up a little bit so it could have taken a little longer. But that email was at 3:30 today. So I would maybe just email the health sciences admissions team.
  14. I’m thinking I’m going to make a group on facebook later tonight for plant city! I’ll add the link Later tonight once it’s made!
  15. For those that are in the Plant City cohort, would you like to make a facebook group if there isn't one already? I can make a group on facebook if there isn't one! I emailed back and asked and was told "Please disregard the part of the HCC Dale Mabry Campus in the Confirmation Form. Go by the campus assigned in your admission email." So I'm assuming we fill out the same paperwork that we already have and just ignore the fact that it says dale mabry?
  16. I finally just got the acceptance email! I guess they had to resend it. My only thing now is that the acceptance email is for Plant City, but all of the attachments (such as the admissions acceptance attachment) is for the Dale Mabry campus. While I'm perfectly happy attending either campuses, I just don't know if I need new paperwork to be filled out.
  17. I just received an email back from the first individual I emailed and this was their response: "The admission email of all the cohorts has been sent. The server must be very busy; we are sending hundreds of emails with several attachments. We recommend that you give some time that all the emails go out." If you end up getting a different response, let me know!
  18. So I went ahead and called HCC, and I was told that the only way I can get in contact with them about my question is by emailing the Health Sciences department. So I'm not sure if I should go ahead and email the health sciences admissions team or wait for a response from this one individual.
  19. I emailed the individual that I received the admissions documents email from, about an hour ago to figure it out. There may have been some type of glitch or error when sending out the emails. I'm debating on whether or not I should just call them though because that may be easier on their part.
  20. Okay thank you! Maybe I should email them in a little bit once things calm down because I'm sure they're still sending out emails!
  21. For those who were accepted, did you receive more than one email? This is the first/only email that I got, and it has a dale mabry campus map on it with all the other documents, but I never technically received an email stating that I got accepted and which cohort I got accepted in to (because I know that there's 3 different dale mabry cohorts).
  22. Did y'all receive like an acceptance email first stating you got accepted? All I received was the admission documents and it says enclosed I will find my admission documents... but nothing in the documents stated "you got accepted" or the cohort that I've been accepted to.
  23. So I just want to give everyone an update. I just received an email from Pasco Hernando State College about their nursing program (which I applied to even though they kept pushing their application deadline back,) and the email stated that they’ve decided that they’re not going to even be accepting students for the Fall because of COVID and lack of clinical sites, and that if we want, we can submit our application for the Spring semester... so I was warned by a few people that are nurses (including my mom,) that that may be what’s going to happen with HCC. I’m not saying that that’s what’s going to happen for HCC (because I don’t know), but that’s a good possibility and I just wanted to update everyone on what other nursing schools are doing.
