  1. Unfortunately, they don’t offer deferments. I will be pulling out GradPLUS loans to help pay for my tuition. :/ In your initial acceptance email, the SON should’ve also offered a small amount to go towards tuition. Did you receive any aid?
  2. @Charlotteee @RN0928 Thank you for your guys' responses! I definitely agree - everyone's situation is different, so it's nice to hear various perspectives. As for myself, I am able to justify the price tag with it being UC Davis. The school is definitely well-known and renown in the medical field. Samuel Merritt, UCSF, and other ABSN programs may be cheaper in tuition, but housing in the Bay Area is crazy expensive.
  3. They should've emailed you with a link to the Canvas page! It has the academic calendar for the 2021-2022 year. Orientation is the week of June 21, first day is June 28. For FAFSA, it should be for the 2021-2022 year. Hope this helps!
  4. Hi everyone, I also decided to cancel my EAO day invite interview. Hopefully it goes to one of you guys here. Good luck! ☺️
  5. I am also waiting on more information from the school. From what I've heard, I think the current cohort creates a FB page for the upcoming cohort.
  6. Yesterday when I first checked, next Friday 1/29 at 8:15 was also available. Looks like that one booked up quickly! I wonder if they're going to add more dates... I would register anyways! I waited one day and next Friday is already gone, LOL!
  7. Thank you for this info! I got an early acceptance invite this morning! ? The email states: The Early Acceptance Opportunity day will take place via Zoom in January and February, depending on availability, and will run for approximately 4 hours. Should you choose not to attend or are not available to attend you will need to go through the regular interview process in order to be considered for a seat in the MSN-E class entering in August 2021.
  8. ^^^ I know it sucks, but don't give up! You guys will eventually be awesome nurses! ♥️ I am so so so thankful I got in! ?
  9. Thanks so much! I guess it's just the waiting game now... Happy holidays! ?
  10. Please let me know what her response is! I was planning to email as well, but don't want to bombard them with the same question.
  11. I'm pretty sure they'll hold virtual interviews!
  12. Thank you @heeyjay and @Lbee for your responses! I also submitted my application a week early. Don't want to freak myself out... but do you guys possibly think it's by alphabetical order? My last name is towards the end of the alphabet and I do remember them saying it'll take up to 4 weeks.
  13. Hey there, did they transfer over all your transcripts already? I keep logging in to check, but still seeing the red X's. ?
  14. The advisor I spoke to said to use the template they provided, but you can format it however you like! As long as it has all the information necessary, it'll be okay.
  15. I received a secondary application invite as well! And from what I remember reading, UCD doesn't perform interviews (someone correct me if I'm wrong). ?
  16. I received it on 8/13 and the subject was "University of California, Davis - Your application was received." Try checking your spam folder!
  17. I just got an email confirming that my application was received and decisions for the graduate application will be sent out by Nov 30!
  18. I submitted my apps on 7/20 and did not receive a confirmation from UCD either.
  19. Hey guys, I just got a response from admissions regarding campus changes and options of deferment. Option 1 Deposit-Deferred- This option requires you to make your seating deposit now and you will be guaranteed a seat in the February Cohort starting in 2021, but only at the campus in which you have been accepted to as of today. Option 2 Rollover- This option allows you to roll your current application over to the February 2021 Cohort applicant pool. You will be resubmitted amongst the applicants at that time. Please note, with choosing this option, your acceptance is not guaranteed and neither is your campus preference. In addition, you may be subject to a reapplication fee via Nursing CAS.
  20. I got an interview invite for the second week of June. For those wondering, it'll be virtual via Zoom. ?
  21. Yup, I'm doing bullet points similar to a resume. How is everyone's SoP coming along?
  22. Hi everyone! I'm starting this new thread for those interested in applying to UC Davis's Master's Entry Program Summer 2021 program. Hoping this will be a space where we all can ask questions/connect. Hope you are all staying healthy!
  23. I reached out to an advisor, and she said Fall 2020 students are actually delayed until Spring 2021 due to the current pandemic.. so that makes sense as to why the apps closed. Prospective students will be applying to the Summer 2021 cohort instead.
  24. Did either of you guys apply? I saw that their deadline for Spring 2021 was closed online. :(
