  1. if they have been cancelled your next best option is to be a nursing assistant. you will get hired very quickly and likely could even have a preference on what floor or specialty you work with. once you get to know your coworkers they usually have no issue teaching you things
  2. I would perhaps start with emailing your clinical instructor to explain you were emailed that students were to work with their instructors to make improvements, and that you would like to be able to have that learning opportunity since other students are. Say you feel like you would like to find alternate ways to learn your weak areas since you are unable to continue in clinical. If she straight up says its an automatic failure, then email the coordinator explaining you have tried to do as you were told by working with the instructor but was declined that option. Emailing the clinical instructor first would at least give a good paper trail to show you have tried to learn and improve in the time left in the course but have been rejected that option.
  3. I feel there is some missing information. If what you say is true, then yes you have a strong case and can say you were never informed you cant text during online clinical. If the content contained answers to the course work then it would make more sense, but either way is still way too harsh. Sorry you have to deal with this. You may want to talk about it with them to ask why it was you who was dismissed.
  4. I've been accepted to attend the program in the Fall and will be a new BSN graduate nurse. I was wondering if anyone has any info or input on the program such as if I should do full or part time, how often you need to be on campus, how much you study a week, how hard is the biostats class, ect. Any advice in general would also be appreciated as well ? Just trying to gather as much information as I can
