  1. @nursecaroline yeah, she told me that it would be sometime mid to late June that I would get my contract to sign!
  2. Follow me on instagram so we could talk on there, IDK how to do private messages on this website. My instagram is @ Schreceas
  3. Hey guys, I’m gonna be working at Emory-Midtown, and I’m moving from Ohio. Is anyone looking for roommates in midtown? Lmk!
  4. @Nurse_Ari2020 $26/hr starting $27/hr after 3 months $30/hr after 1 year +$4.25 3pm-11pm +$4.50 11pm-7am +$3.25 weekends Benefits like health insurance, you can be covered first day of orientation.
  5. @Nurse_Ari2020 I interviewed at 11:30 and 12:30. I think it may have to do with your last name maybe? My last name starts with an S. IDK the phone call was a little long with her telling me about pay and everything so it might just take some time.
  6. Just got a call and got offered midtown Medical ICU and Neuro ICU, I chose medical. Good luck to everyone else!
  7. @Nurse_Ari2020 71 told me they were gonna take 5 new grads. I would probably choose Medical over Neuro if I got offered both.
  8. @Nurse_Ari2020 yeah Emory midtown, 31 & 71.
  9. @futureRN0527 NIHSS a stroke scale. It's a free online class its really easy to get. I got it since I was applying to the neuro ICU. But I would warn that ACLS is expensive if you're getting it by yourself, all together I think I spent like $350 on getting it, but both my interviewers were impressed that I had it.
  10. @FutureRN0527 I'm actually from Cleveland. I graduated from Cleveland State and have been working at the Cleveland Clinic. I interviewed for both Medical ICU and Neuro ICU.
  11. Just do everything else in your power to make yourself more marketable on your resume. I didn't have a practicum either, but I completed an externship at a hospital and made sure I got experience on a floor. Get some community service hours. Get your ACLS, and NIHSS. Join nursing affiliations, like I joined AACN. Make sure to find things that make you stand out on your resume and you'll be good. Also, I don't think it matters if you're graduated or not when you apply, they do say on the website though that you need a license before a certain date. So I made sure to get my test done early.
  12. Both my interviewers said to wait for a recruiter to reach out by the end of the week, so I'm assuming either Thursday or Friday!
  13. Does anyone know what platform we use to sign up for interviews?
