@Nurse_Ari2020 I interviewed at 11:30 and 12:30. I think it may have to do with your last name maybe? My last name starts with an S. IDK the phone call was a little long with her telling me about pay and everything so it might just take some time.

@futureRN0527 NIHSS a stroke scale. It's a free online class its really easy to get. I got it since I was applying to the neuro ICU. But I would warn that ACLS is expensive if you're getting it by yourself, all together I think I spent like $350 on getting it, but both my interviewers were impressed that I had it.

@FutureRN0527 I'm actually from Cleveland. I graduated from Cleveland State and have been working at the Cleveland Clinic. I interviewed for both Medical ICU and Neuro ICU.

Just do everything else in your power to make yourself more marketable on your resume. I didn't have a practicum either, but I completed an externship at a hospital and made sure I got experience on a floor. Get some community service hours. Get your ACLS, and NIHSS. Join nursing affiliations, like I joined AACN. Make sure to find things that make you stand out on your resume and you'll be good. Also, I don't think it matters if you're graduated or not when you apply, they do say on the website though that you need a license before a certain date. So I made sure to get my test done early.

Both my interviewers said to wait for a recruiter to reach out by the end of the week, so I'm assuming either Thursday or Friday!
