Hi! I'm looking for advice of more experienced nurses/techs. I am a nursing student who got offered a position as a patient care tech last month. I don’t start until mid-April due to clearance paperwork etc. My question is, do you think it would still be appropriate to start this job? I would be working at an ER in northern NJ where we already have a lot of COVID-19 cases. I am not sure what the situation is at the hospital where I’m supposed to work regarding PPE which is what worries me. I am also not sure how training would work now that the the nurses are so busy dealing with the pandemic.  Any input helps! Thanks in advance!
