  1. Hi everyone! I posted about this topic a bit ago, but my city has been hiring nursing students to assist during the pandemic at local hospitals. I initially applied because I'd like to help out in any way that I can, but as this pandemic gets more serious and we have more COVID patients in my city with dwindling PPE, I don't know if I should take the job anymore. There's also a lot of nurses that likely work multiple jobs and may be exposed to more COVID patients. My question is would you take a job at a hospital as a nursing student right now?
  2. The hospital in my town has given nursing students the opportunity to assist with COVID-19 screening and other duties. I am interested in helping out and gaining experience during this time, but have my reservations because I don't want to chance it and bring it around my family. To all nursing students and RNs, do you think this is a good opportunity and is this something you would personally do? Thanks!
