  1. Yes, best of luck to everyone!! ?
  2. Hi! Nothing has changed for me yet. My app status still says "In Process, In Review" in green. No emails or phone calls received either! I have a feeling things will start rolling out tomorrow and Wednesday!
  3. Hi!! Congrats on putting in your applications - such an exciting step closer to your future goals! Our class of 2025 application process was extremely different compared to classes before us - we applied and were sent acceptances but were forced to defer for an entire year due to staffing vacancies at Chabot. I'm hearing they are still planning to bring a cohort in for Fall 2024. I spoke with our director recently and she mentioned they are in the final steps of application review for you all and will be sending out acceptances pretty soon. Good luck to you!
  4. Congratulations!! Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of our classmates!
  5. Hello there!! Starting this thread for accepted, alternate, and hopeful Chabot College Fall 2023 RN Program students! Eager to meet everyone! ?
  6. I received an email notification this morning stating that I was not selected due to not meeting the communications requirement, however, I took and passed that requirement so this is an unfortunate situation... CONGRATULATIONS to those accepted/alternates and best of luck to those waiting! ?
  7. Thank you for forwarding the info!!
  8. It really is!! LOL. I just really wish they’d send an update like “hey, keep your cool, we’re still working on applications” LOL patience really is a virtue but it’s sooooo hard to be patient for this! Good luck to you!! Fingers crossed we hear something (anything!!) soon!
  9. Same here! A while back, I was reading through previous application year threads and it seems as though they were 1-2 weeks late from the April 30 deadline ?
  10. This is also my first time applying to programs. I applied to a total of 5 programs (ARC and SCC being 2 of those 5). So far, I have only heard from SCC and unfortunately, was not randomly selected in that lottery. It really is a bummer, but really hoping to get good news from at least ONE LOL! Wishing you the best of luck throughout your nursing application journey!
  11. The wait is killing me!! I REALLY hope notifications are actually being sent out this week...another program I applied to, decided they won't be sending out notifications until September!! Good luck everyone!
  12. Hi all!! Just received an email from SCC regarding acceptance to Fall ‘20/Spring ‘21 and unfortunately was not randomly selected in the lottery. Just thought I’d let y’all know they’re starting to send out those emails!! Good luck to everyone waiting!
  13. Yayyyyyy!! to all those getting updated applications!! How exciting (and scary!) that acceptance time is getting closer. I will be looking out for an update on mine too but as of now, nothing yet! Fingers crossed and best to all ?
  14. Thank you for passing on this information to all of us that are anxiously waiting! Hope they all are staying safe and healthy during this time.
  15. Also did not receive an email nor app status change!! ? Thank you for sharing the info, though! ?
  16. Thank you!! Good luck to you ? wishing you the best outcome for this application period!
  17. You’re so kind for making yourself available for questions, thank you! I hope your last semester continues smoothly without any further interruptions. Thanks again ?
  18. My SCC app was updated yesterday, 4/7 around 2pm but also no actual update on the app status, still says “received”! No change since end of Feb for my ARC app. These little changes drive my anxiety up the walls LOL!!
  19. That makes complete sense! Thank you so much for sharing this information, gives me a little peace of mind during this strange time!! Good luck to you and to all ?
  20. That’s so good to hear! Very happy for them, I bet they are so relieved!! Thanks for passing on this info ?
  21. Thank you for passing along this info!! Wishing you and your cohort the best ?
  22. Same here, nothing yet! From reading past threads for ARC & SCC, app status may change around the 1st/2nd week of April and that’s IF they change the status. I also read that there have been some years in the past where app status wasn’t changed at all during the application period, and applicants basically had to wait for acceptance emails & letters! I wish schools would provide a general timeline of when to expect app status changes, it’s such an anxiety-filled time! Good luck everyone, I will update here when/IF my app status changes!! ?
  23. I’m sorry to hear..but sending my positive thoughts and best wishes your way for ARC! Good luck ??
  24. Yes, I hope so, too! I will update if and when my app status changes, I hope you all will do the same! Here’s to hoping all of the workers in administration and enrollment services are okay and healthy, but also hoping that this strange time we’re living in doesn’t negatively affect applications and the start of Fall 2020 ADN!! Good luck everyone ?
  25. I truly think it comes down to each individual when it comes to this dilemma... As for myself, I would choose to go the ADN route, sit for the NCLEX to become licensed as a registered nurse, begin work ASAP and while working, also complete CSUEB’s online ADN to BSN program. My reasoning for this option is that I am still fairly young (I think! LOL), I currently don't have dependents that require my support (so I’m not too worried about time spent in programs to eventually obtain a BSN) and it seems to be the option that is more cost effective. On the other hand, completing the BSN program at CSUEB right off the bat and skipping the ADN altogether could very well be the better option for someone who feels like they would like to complete their education, reach their career goal quicker and wouldn’t mind forking out a bit more moolah to attain a BSN quicker! There are absolutely pros and cons to both, depending on your own personal situation, of course. It’s important to weigh those out! I hope this helped ?
