Thank You for you input, it was very helpful. I think SMU seems like a very good school and I heard nothing but great things about it. It's the price that got me, but it seems worth it.

Hi, Try to enroll in one micro or physio. You can have one Science class not done and do it over the fall. I don’t think they allow to have more then 1 Science course though. If you can enroll in either class, you should be good. And why isn’t your college allowing you to take micro?

The word limit is 250-300. I know it says 200-250 on the very top, but if you look under each question it says 250-300. In a live chat we were told to go with the 250-300 word limit. Hope that helps

Even if they’re not using the HESI, just put your results up in the application since you got a really good score. It might give you some advantage.

For the GPA, SMU only counts your prerequisite courses towards it. If you got a C or lower on say, public speaking, it won’t count towards you GPA since it’s not a prerequisite.

Can you tell us more about how the program was. I was debating not going to SMU due to cost but I heard a lot of good things.

You can find it on SMU’s website. It has a lot to do with the connection the university has with hospitals in the bay. Most nurses I meet are also from SMU and they said that being SMU grad helped them a lot.
