Douglas College - Foundations to BSN Program 2021
That's cool, I'm 19 right now! I paid about $3500 for tuition but with all the other costs/fees added up, I paid almost close to $4800. I also do have some of my textbooks that I haven't sold yet from my classes so let me know if you're interested! I currently work and volunteer at the hospital while I'm waiting.

I've spoken with the Academic Advisor at Douglas and having a higher GPA doesn't exactly help you that much because you do have to wait still so that's why I haven't redone any classes. They mainly look at when you finished your 10 classes and if you meet their all requirements. The course load wasn't too bad for me, because I did all my classes straight after high school but for someone who hasn't been in school for a while, it might be a little more challenging. I will message you about the tuition and about my classes! But yes, I agree it will definitely be worth the wait ❤️ Edit: Nevermind, I can't send messages yet ?

My average GPA is 3.2 which isn't really that great. Now that I think about it, I feel I could have definitely tried way harder in my classes and maybe I would've done better ? I did decide to apply to both Langara and BCIT anyways but I haven't had much luck. Langara is solely GPA based and BCIT looks at your GPA, your credentials, and your health care experience. Douglas isn't as competitive compared to these places which is probably why it takes so long to get in ? but it's just so hard to wait though. This seems like the hardest part but I know Nursing school is going to be like nothing else.

Hey there! Congrats on being accepted! I'm not currently in the BSN but I finished all my prerequisites in Summer 2019 so right now I'm just playing the waiting game to get into the BSN at Douglas. I managed to do all my courses within a year and I got in pretty quickly into all the courses I needed to do as well. I've been told that most students end up waiting 2-2.5 years to get into Nursing after they finish their 10 courses so working and travelling seems like a good idea! Make sure that you try your very best in all your classes so that you have a higher GPA. This way, you can also apply to some other schools such as Langara and BCIT as well.
