  1. Should I be worried? I took my exam on August 15th and I still have no quick results. Although the BON sent me a passing letter in the mail and I have a license number and expiration date with RN beside it on BON website. It's been over a week that my quick results have not been posted yet. Could there have been an issue with my exam? Is it possible they would take my license away if there was and make me retake it?
  2. If so, how was the program? I heard it’s fast paced but I wouldn’t mind as long as I had good professors. I’m a paramedic and currently have all my pre requisites for ASN. Thank you!
  3. I am In a RN bridge program. I am about to be in my 2nd semester. I live in Alabama. Please do not bash me for this. I feel pretty ashamed. I do not consider myself to be a bad person, I have maybe one or 2 speeding tickets on my record. Anyways, here’s the story. I used to work in a ER but was furloughed due to the COVID pandemic. They had a low patient census and had to furlough me. I got unemployment and decided to stay on it to get through nursing school. I was getting groceries at Walmart and was trying to get food for my family. I went through the self checkout and the total price was a lot higher then Iexpected. I intentionally did not scan some groceries and paid for the otherhalf. I paid for about $34 worth and theitems that were unscanned added up about $42 I believe. I proceeded out the door and wasstopped by security who pulled me into a surveillance type room. They got my information and called the police. I told them the truth about what I was doing. The police showed up. Walmart had a policy if the item totals more than $40 then the policy is to have you arrested. So the police arrested and took me to jail. My charge is for petty theft 4th degree misdemeanor. I feel pretty bad about myself for this. I have worked very hard to get into the program I am now I feel like I have ruined it all. I receive $275 a week on unemployment. I have a 4 year old daughter whom I was mainly trying to get food for. My wife is employed but makesjust enough money to pay our rent. I pay the bills and groceries with my $275 aweek. I have attempted to get foodstamps, but we are just over the cut off mark of our combined income. I knew what I was doing was wrong, but I decided to do it anyway. I made a pretty foolish mistake that I can not believe I did. Do you know if I will still have achance to take my NCLEX?
  4. CONGRATS! Which program were you accepted into?
  5. Hi, I applied for Gadsden states fall 2020 program, and also applied for the mobility program since I’m a paramedic. I currently have 37 points. Is this a good number to have? What are your points?
  6. Hi, I have completed all of my pre requisite courses for my nursing program and submitted my application to my local community college for the paramedic to RN bridge and for the 2 year ADN program. I am worried because my ACT is only an 18 and that is the minimum score my school requires. Also my GPA is only a 2.7 from cumulative courses dating back to 2009 where I didn’t care about school as a teen and made a few bad grades. I have a 3.7 GPA from nursing pre req courses. Admission is based on a point system and I have 38 out of 58 points. The point system goes by your nursing pre req course GPA, not my cumulative thank god. But the ACT point system is based on what ACT score you obtained. I also got 10 points for first time nursing school admission, and 3 points for my paramedic. I sent my application in a week ago and I won’t find out until 4-6 weeks. I am extremely nervous. What are my chances of getting in based on your past experiences?
