I agree you might as well look for a recruitment agency to help you. These processes of hiring nurses abroad are lengthy in time. Wishing you the best. And yes the NCLEX is a computer exam required for registration in the US and Canada. All the best

From my experience, it was right away, in fact, it is strenuous as they want credentials for CGFNS ( process of verifying your international nursing education to qualifiy you for the NCLEX), simultaneously. The CGFNS really depends on you and your country to get the credentials in. But every week Avant gives you online tests, readings and everything needed to pass the NCLEX. After CGFNS issues you the certificate , they schedule to do the NCLEX right away via Pearson Vue. It was overwhelming for me because my infant was just born, but Avant will test you constantly to make sure you pass!. They were extremely awesome with that.

I think Avant is a bit of a lengthy prcess due to the redtape of coming to the United States. I first sent in my application from July 2018 and i finished signing my documents by December 2018. After you pass your final interview you meet online coordinators.from the NClex team who are literally schooling you every week to pass the NClex. I would say from CGFNS,the credentialing agency ,and studying I passed my NCLEX AT THE END OF JUNE 2019 first try with 89 questions. After the NClex you do not go over right away. In fact the green card and immigration visa is a lengthy wait. I am still waiting for my green card interview and im literally 45 mins away by plane from the United States. I go to say that AVANT will respond to you. Its just so many applicants and so many different departments and processes you have to go through. If you are not willing to wait, then contact their head office ,particularly recruitment, for a quicker response.

If this helps my first interview was September 2018 and i got accepted that November 2018 and did my NClex june 2019. Currently still awaiting my immigration visa interview and approval. So that was almost 1 year and a half.

Did you send an email with to your recruiter. They are very responsive to emails lkme within 48 hours.explain to them your situation. Maybe ur contract might be on hold until your situation is resolved. Otherwise you may bave to pay back thousands. Hope this helps
