  1. Oh no! They should really prioritize the students that will be graduating. So I'm guessing you've never been to clinicals in general, like during nursing school? Thanks!! Just wanted to know how exams are set up. In first semester, we all take exams on Thursdays at 7am. The three lec profs all make up one exam. Is that the same for future semesters? Or is it done during class time? Each prof makes their own?
  2. Nice!! Trying to plan for Fall 2021. They say mostly in person for the whole school, but who knows. So you go in once or twice a week?
  3. For those of you in second semester: Are you going to clinicals this semester? I've heard second semester students are doing one clinical in person and one online. At the hospital or city tech labs?
  4. Oh really. What make you say that? I understand they are unorganized. With everything being last minute.
  5. U just got accepted today?
  6. Where does it mention CPR certification? Did I miss that?
  7. True. ESP if there will be assigned readings we need to do before class starts. But I’m guessing they will def give us a longer timeframe to complete everything w COVID. Like drs appts r so hard to get early.
  8. Wow. I didn’t do a thing yet. In the email it said everything will be explained at orientation. I thought we should wait til then How were the medcom videos? Just basic?
  9. Did any of you guys do anything that was sent by email? Like the medcom account videos, ordering scrubs, background checks, anything, or u all waiting til after orientation?
  10. if u mean registrar office, I emailed them a while ago. They never respond. But they do read the emails. They just don’t confirm. So if u sent documents to them, they will upload them to your account, they just won’t notify you. also. For those who didn’t get any decision yet. There’s still hope. Last day to accept the offer is the 17th. If some people don’t respond, they lose their seat.
  11. It’s a clinical waiver agreement.
  12. There’s still hope. Some students applied to multiple programs, so there’s a chance some might reject their spot, so that’s why they haven’t sending out all letters.
  13. Hey guys. Should we sign the waiver for clinicals? What happens if we don’t?
  14. That’s why I said just my opinion. Anyways they didn’t even put up nur 1030 on the schedule of classes. And for the classes that are showing they didn’t put up labs, teachers all say staff, they are still trying to figure things out whilst we are just weeks from start of semester.
  15. Seems to be we won’t get acceptance letters til after the 12th. Because the 12th is the last day to choose the credit/no credit grade. They want to make sure that we don’t use that. Just my opinion. So the earliest is Wednesday, but most likely we will get the emails Thursday/Friday. also, any word of Summer 2021 will be online?
  16. Thank you so much. How was the subject overall. Was it difficult? Was there a lot of assignments to do? Were grades based solely on exams? Is lab manual required?
  17. Has anyone taken Microbiology yet? I heard that tests are not multiple choice. Is that true?
  18. Btw, For the Spring 2020 nursing, they received the acceptance emails on Thursday, January 9. Just checked on this site. Also a lot of ppl were calling the office to inquire about when they will send out the letters last year. So hopefully we get them soon. Fingers crossed before the weekend.
  19. Does anyone know if I take 9 credits this Spring semester, I will be part time. But if I also take a 4 credit course for the Summer, would that then make me full time for financial aid purposes?
  20. If you don’t mind me asking do the professors record lectures so that we can go over them later on. Also do we have to turn on cameras. Because then that would mean I would need a stronger Internet connection.
  21. 40 hours studying!! thanks for the info. They still haven’t put up the schedule of classes for nursing. Can’t register for any courses without the schedule at least. Any word on what they will be doing for clinicals? In person? Online? We r just a few weeks ago from the start of the semester
  22. For those of u already in the program, how r first semester nursing classes like? Difficult? A lot of reading? Because I am debating whether I should take Microbiology this semester or next. I’m asking about nur 1010 and nur 1030
  23. still waiting on final grades for this semester, u?
  24. I understand we cant register for classes until we get accepted, but the schedule of classes doesnt even show first semester courses like nur1030 Like how r we supposed to at least register for other classes like a&p2 if we don't know when at least the nursing classes will be offered. And all NUR courses say in person. Is that true, even for lecture.
  25. I think u meant Spring 2021.LOL I applied for Spring as well. cant wait for the results I heard its very competitive to get in.
