  1. Hi everyone! Has anyone submitted their final transcripts? I just ordered mine. I am wondering if we still need to submit our immunization records, TB, etc? Also, has anyone already paid their tuition? I'm just wondering where everyone is at with the steps to prepare for registration? Thank you!
  2. I got a rejection letter from Saddleback's nursing program today at 1:08 PM. I think I had 78 pts. CONGRATS to those who got into the program!
  3. I just declined my admission to CSULB SON. I hope someone on the waitlist will get notified of an open spot. Good luck in everyone's future endevors!
  4. My email came in at 1:30 as well! CONGRATS!
  5. I got accepted too! CONGRATS to those who got accepted and to those who got waitlisted (you still have a good chance). I’m still debating between CSULB and SDSU. Does anyone have advice between these two schools? @ninja1968 typically, you have to submit a deposit when you accept your admission offer. I know for SDSU it is $400 but I’m not sure for LB.
  6. Maybe there was an error with your application? Or possibly they look people up online? Maybe you can reach out to an advisor and ask? I don’t know if their admission is entirely based off of points.
  7. If anyone wants to reach out about roommate, I’m looking! I want an idea of how many rooms to look at because I’m going to look at apartments near campus when I go tour. My name is Brenna McClung. You can find me on facebook or Instagram! ?
  8. From what I know, typically students do not have a choice in were their clinical are. It could be different at CSULB. Maybe email an advisor and ask? You can also ask at the communication activity.
  9. I know this is a little early LOL, but is anyone going to be looking for housing? I would prefer to have a roommate that is a nursing major as well! I can't go to the Explore SDSU day but I am going to do a campus tour and then look at places to live. I currently live in south OC, about an hour away from SDSU. I was looking at this today. If you look at the different semester tracks for nursing students it includes it within the plan. I am not quite sure if we have to fulfill that requirement by traveling abroad or if we can take the other classes it lists on the website.
  10. I’m so sad I can’t go to the open house because I already have travel plans for that week, Spring break. I was hoping to do a campus tour
  11. Did you receive any more information after that?
  12. Has anyone submitted their intent to enroll??
  13. I got confirmed for 10 AM. Anyone going at that time? Does anyone have an idea of what we will be doing?
  14. It is all the same, as far as I know @annietee
  15. Check your WebPortal!! Admission decisions are available! I was admitted! I'm so excited!!
  16. Hi everyone! I got a communication exercise today too! Excited to meet everyone. For the nutrition poll, I am in a nutrition class this semester, does that mean I should say no that I have not taken the class? (Since I have not completed it yet)
  17. I emailed the SON counselor regarding admissions and this is what he said: ”The School of Nursing is waiting for the transfer application file so that we can begin scoring, which we anticipate receiving sometime this week. It will take us a couple of weeks or so to work through it before we give our decisions to the Office of Admissions, who is the only office allowed to send out admission decisions. There's no way for me to know the point cutoff because it will depend on the applicant pool. “
  18. Hello! I applied to SDSU as a transfer applicant. Bellow are my stats: Pre-req GPA: 4.0 Cumulative: 4.0 TEAS: 89.3% No work experience. I have a total of 68 points. A nursing counselor at SDSU told me that last fall transfer applicant point cut off was 68. Good luck everyone!
