All I got was a confirmation that I got the acceptance form. They are probably waiting on the April 15th deadline so they can send out checklists to everyone not sure .

Just A note you guys! I have my email fwd to my primary Yahoo account for any incoming msgs for any UoM mail. I noticed that the acceptance letter we are suppose to send back must be coming from the uom email directly so just make sure they get it that way ! Its underlined in the acceptance form!

How does this virus affect my life? I wake up now unsure if it will be my last cup of coffee . Will it be the last hug or kiss I give my child ? Will it be the last phone call I have between me and my mother? I am awaiting to get a reply if I am accepted into Nursing school, should I quit and back down? I am a mother, wife, pre-nursing student ,what do I do? Now I live in fear of losing a Nation not just a family. My animal instincts are kicking in .Should I now protect myself from what is it come? Will there be more crime , more poverty and hunters coming after me? No its not the Walking Dead , but its is real . Not unexpected , it happened before right? BLACK DEATH, FLU, SARS, EBOLA, why were we not prepared? Are we in denial? How do I come out of these thoughts? Have Faith, Be Strong and I Know there is a cure for everything except old age because he said so. TO ALL OF THE NURSES AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS out there putting there lives on the line to help others. You are our Heroes. Pray when you wake up and Pray before you sleep and have confidence you will succeed over this Hardship and there will come ease.Thank you so much for your service.

@Nursetay I haven’t tried contacting them yet. I'm sure things will probably be delayed till they get adjusted.Takes up to 6 weeks after deadline of application which was I think Feb 14 I think . so if we do get anything based on normal circumstances it would be by end of next week I’m guessing.

Hey yoU guys I just got word that students enrolled in LCON right now cannot do clinicals for rest of semester and have to do online assignments due to CoVid-19 outbreak. Hope things call down and settle by Fall

@Nursetayyou know I was wondering about that since it has been chaotic lately. I'm sure everything has been affected . I am wondering how nursing students there are doing during clinical hours? Anyone can give us insight as to what changes we might expect going in?

My Bro works at a hospital here in Memphis as a (DNP)and my cousin has been a FNP for 12 years and works at Cambell Clinic. I know he got his job at a hospital because the advancement in the degree helped . I am still a prenursing student but I hope to be a NP one day . Memphis has St Jude and Lebonhuer which are the top children’s hospitals compared to other states so there are opportunities. I also know that there is always shortages here for private home care nursing because of the demand.

HEY EMT_2RN How is the program, did u finish? Was it Hard? Do you know anyone that got accepted with a pending course at time of application. My overall gpa is 3.94 pending AP2 ( currently taking at SW) and Science so far is a 4.0. . I finished all my gen ed requirements
