  1. LOL sorry to burst your bubble but I complete this program in a month with no problem making As and Bs having the crappiest GPA for A&P 1,2. Sadly I’ve met people who are 4.0 GPA make the worst nurses on the floor ??‍♂️
  2. I mean some of us don’t have a choice when getting denied at more than one school over and over again, or put on the waitlist for over 6months. Like not everyone has the time to wait LOL each year tuitions are going up longer you wait the more it’ll cost. Just saying. watched tuitions go up at some of these colleges in the last 5 years.
  3. AT THE END OF THE DAY, doesn't matter where you get your education from for nursing, WE ALL TAKE THE SAME DAMN TEST. :] I had a friend who graduate from UIW, had financial aid, paid out of pocket, had scholarships and still walked away with at least $60k in loans alone (she paid ALOT out of pocket $20k) Galen isn't THAT bad of a school. Most of these schools you go to anyways you could only get SO much out of the professors but 80% of it still teaching yourself. Baptist is a great school if you can get into it, very very competitive, most their clinicals are at baptist hospitals, as galen its with methodists. UIW just seem to have a bad rep for clinicals as they teach them how to document over patient care. UThealth well.... a good handful of friends quit after 1 semester and went else where. SAC I was told there is a waitlist for about 2 years. As the pandemic hit, they held off for almost a year before reopening to accept applications, as this is BY FAR your cheapest route but pass rates not that great. CC will always be your cheapest route.
  4. theyre pretty behind by a mile. Theyre getting ready for all the programs thats starting in July, which means LVN, LV-RN bridge, and BSN start same day, thats like over 100 people. While juggling the other applications for the other start dates. I've finished everything a month ago, still waiting for my orientation, ID, and book collection. No one will get their schedule until like a week or two before class starts, is what I heard from others.
  5. well I dont like doing webcam, so I tried to act as if I didn't have one butttttt they want you to be on webcam LOL because later when classes start you have to have a webcam to attend zoom lectures class
  6. No, they already have chosen the 40 students Or else they wouldn’t of told me to apply for their LVN program. And the LVN program already have enrollment process going on, classes start July 6. And a few were picked as alternatives, if they haven’t already told you by now if you were accepted or placed as an alternative than your luck as run out.
  7. I applied to their LVN program right away, and was accepted! better than nothing I guess
  8. This is what I got LOL oh well
  9. Good luck to you! I’m sure you’ll get in! I unfortunately did not ? but it’s okay I’ll try again
  10. I'm looking at portal and there isn't anything indicating that its been changed. It looks the same as it was when I submitted everything back in Feb. And only document I can see is the transfer credit sheet; and the enrollment on that "display only document" says "active." Also it seems like under galens group on FB, emails are slowly going out every week? I called a week ago, and the lady I spoke with said that "there isn't anything indicating you were either accepted or denied, I do see an email from your financial advisor, it seems like you MAY have already been accepted but dont quote me on that." So these responses make me upset.
  11. My friend who started the BSN program few months ago, said she got 110 on the pax. I haven’t heard anything for me And I got a 109 on it. LOL and honestly with this virus thing going on and getting into nursing school, I’m not going to stress it over, some nursing schools are struggling to get clinicals at this time. I think 2020 needs to end already LOL
  12. I’d probably would call the school, usually they send out emails for the acceptance. I got an email yesterday about making sure I did all my fasfa documents along with some other ones, and that class spots fill fast LOL
  13. I was wondering the same thing, with the outbreak. I also need to take the TEAS VI for another school but been hearing school closures and read in the TEAS group on FB, that they cancelled TEAS exam in some areas >_>
  14. hows everyone out there? Any news of acceptance yet?
  15. My application is complete as well, now its the waiting game. I'm also worried about getting in since my GPA was not that good at SAC (still obtained AS in Pre-nursing) They said it will take up to 4-6 weeks when they will let us know.
