  1. Hi! I’ve been with Chamberlain for almost a year now. I know it can be difficult making a decision to attend Chamberlain because you can find so many mixed reviews online. I was in the same boat prior to attending. However, I am happy with my decision and have not had any problems! The first session will be the hardest I believe, not because the material but because you will realize how quickly 8 weeks go by. As I mentioned, I am almost a year down and I have built my routine and my time management skills. As long as you put in the effort, you will enjoy Chamberlain. Nursing school is difficult regardless of where you attend, and as long as you are committed and do the work, you will do great. I also had to take some pre reqs with Chamberlain because my prior degree was in Business so I was missing some of the sciences. Chamberlain also offers something known as “VCAS” which is student tutoring sessions, and they have been great for any pre req courses such as anatomy, chem, statistics, and Microbiology. All the professors I’ve had so far have been great, except for maybe one in my first session. Let me know if you have any more specific questions, I’ll be happy to help since I know how it feels when researching this school.
  2. This is a good sign! Same thing happened to me and I got the phone call a couple days later. Congrats!
  3. I am finishing up my first session, and it has been great so far! The work load is heavy, so it takes a lot of time and dedication. I was working 40 hours and resigned, because for me personally it was not working out. Other than that, I love Chamberlain. I was hesitant to start with Chamberlain, because when you Google them it can give you some bad reviews... however, so far I’ve had a great experience. Good luck and congrats!!
  4. Good Luck! Have you heard anything so far in regards to your application?
  5. Thank you, CONGRATS to you as well! Wish you the best on your journey. ALSO for anyone reading this thread if Chamberlain holds back some of your credits, make sure to bring it up to student services during your orientation with them! I informed student services of the credits that Chamberlain did not transfer, but should have qualified and she submitted a request and 2 weeks later the credits were approved.
  6. Thank you! Yes of course.
  7. I received a call, I got in.
  8. My advisor hasn’t even emailed me once.. LOL I keep checking my email every minute. Hopefully we will hear back tomorrow if they have the meeting. I saw that campuses will be closed till the fall semester now.
  9. Have you heard back yet? I'm so nervous for tomorrow.
  10. Then you should be good, it may still be processing. Hope we both get in!
  11. Have you done your Fafsa? If so, did you list Chamberlain on your fafsa?
  12. It was an email disclosing the financial aide I would receive for Chamberlain and how to log on into the student portal.
  13. Have you received any emails from the school? I've only received the financial aide package email.
  14. I wonder when the meeting will take place...
  15. I have only heard back from the advisor one time. Im so anxious.
  16. Not yet! Did you apply to Pearland?
  17. I do sure hope so! Do you remember how long after the email, you where officially told that you where admitted?
  18. I applied for Fall 2020
  19. Yay!! I got a call from my advisor but no official word yet.. LOL but I have access to the student portal. I hope they are not playing with my feelings!
  20. It was an email in regards to my financial aide package with Chamberlain.
  21. Hi everyone I applied for a different campus, but I was wondering if anyone has received an email "Awards Letter" from Chamberlain before being told if you where accepted or not? I was able to log into the student portal and everything... so confused!
  22. Update: Received an email with my official FAFSA amounts for Chamberlain, and I was able to log into the "student portal" and I have a student email.... but no official word about acceptance. Im confused.
  23. The schools are set to open in June 27th, so I am also preparing for the HESI just incase I have to take it around that time.
  24. I applied on Saturday, hopefully we hear back soon. I’m hoping to start in Fall, but if it’s full then hopefully I get accepted for January.
  25. I will be applying this week!! I hope to start this fall too.
