  1. I graduated with my B.A. in Psychology (Business Minor) in 2014. I have since worked as a Case Manager for non-profit for sometime and then Have been working at an Insurance Agency for the last 5 years while going to nursing school for ADN (part time & paying out of pocket bc I don't qualify for anymore student loans). I have also worked as a nurse tech PRN (but, that doesn't pay much just good experience). I live in deep Southern USA and they pay new CNA/Nurse Tech's between $11-14hr. I'm blessed and thankful that my insurance job allows me the scheduling flexibility to work and go to school so that I can pay my bills and provide for my family. You kind of have to just find out what works best for you. Just make sure that the starting pay for LPN's in your area is fair and something you can be happy with. If not, you may want to do what I did and just work your tale off for a couple years to save and then pay your own way through the ADN program. Good luck! ?
  2. @Nursetobe2023 You definitely have a great chance to be accepted to the program this year (fingers crossed). #4 is right there, so close! ? @brookegoodwin92 I feel your pain with #68, I'm #106 on alternate list, so don't feel bad LOL ? we can both just prepare/better ourselves and reapply again next year girl. Can those who got in please share your GPA's, TEAS score, #classes taken at BRCC, as a scope for those of us who didn't get in? It would be much appreciated and helpful If you are comfortable sharing. Thanks ?
  3. How does it work if you are picked as an alternate? Are you notified of that in June or in August?!
  4. I take the TEAS on 3/9/2020 at 8am. I’ve been preparing for it for awhile so I’m ready for it. I think if you use any type of TEAS study guide Or something that helps guide your TEAS prep you will be fine. Good luck everyone! ???‍?
  5. How do you access the 2020 ASN-RN application from the website? I see the link for LPN-RN on the BRCC home page; but, where is the ASN-RN link? All help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
