  1. @FrenchNurse18 ^^^ do you know?
  2. @Charliebear95OK, bc it wasn’t in the offer letter I signed. Also did they tell you if you were going to be starting off on nights as a new grad? They asked my preference but they didn’t say if it was mandatory I had to work nights. Piedmont said they start new nurses on nights
  3. @Charliebear95 did they tell you how long the commitment was with Piedmont? I feel like I was told 1 year but I can’t find it anywhere
  4. @NurseLou22 did they mention how they were doing call backs? I’m wondering if they are doing it by locations or what’s going on
  5. @Msbentley31 I’m not sure. I reached out to someone that was accepted for the Summer. She told me they didn’t call her until maybe 9 days after she interviewed so I’m going to keep praying and being patient
  6. @Slej2020 I’m just going to assume they are making more calls next week. There’s no way they could have called EVERYONE today..so I’m keeping my faith
  7. What was pay at Emory? I want to compare it to Piedmont
  8. Maybe bc you’re critical care which is a specialty, that was for IMCU a step down but I guess they don’t cinder that a specialty??‍♀️
  9. What time did you interview? I’m getting nervous now @e.allen.s
  10. OK, has anyone heard anything? From Emory
  11. @e.allen.s yes she told me the same thing? and yes I would def pick medical over neuro. Fingers crossed we get one of them
  12. @e.allen.s o WOW!! I hope we are hired on the same unit!
  13. @aubuRN2020 yes the IMCU offered me a position so if Emory doesn’t want me I’ll take that. But you’re right the ICU is where I want/need to be so I’ll for sure get there.
  14. @e.allen.s did you apply for Emory medical ICU and Neuro ICU? Which location? Those are the two interviewed for at the midtown location.
  15. Well damn! I would have picked the CVICU and been done with this process ?? I’m so mad I couldn’t interview for one of their ICU @aubuRN2020
  16. Same! @aubuRN2020 did Piedmont offer you an ICU position?
  17. @FutureRN0527 we are from all over LOL. I attend school in st.louis. I had two interviews with Emory both are critical care positions. I had one with Piedmont a step down unit
  18. @FutureRN0527 I did not put my GPA on my resume. I have previous hospital experience. I was told they have no way of knowing, but again I told the truth( kind of regret it) LOL. The person on the forum that did interview for the ICU said they asked scenario questions. So be prepared. And you could have had clinicals in March my school didn’t shut down until mid March. We went to our clinical Friday and was told do not return Monday LOL
  19. @FutureRN0527 the application usually opens up 5 months before start dates...so if I’m hired I’ll started in October 2020, the application opened up in April 2020. Me personally I just stalked the websites LOL. I’m in my final term so yes you apply when you’re a student. My senior practicum was also cancelled, for Piedmont that stopped me from interviewing in the area I wanted (critical care). For Emory it wasn’t a problem at all. So if you want a speciality at Piedmont lie and say you had some kind of clinical in that area, of you want to still be considered for an interview.
  20. @Charliebear95 the only thing is Piedmont is a step down unit and both places I interviewed for at Emory are critical care...so of course I’ll take the critical care Also I’m not sure what the pay difference is, bc piedmont offered 25.50 base pay shift differential is 3-11pm ($3.50), weekends ($3.50), 11pm-7am ($4.50)
  21. So how does everyone feel? I received a job offer today from Piedmont, but I asked if I could reply by the end of next week hoping I hear something from Emory.
  22. @aubuRN2020 this was Neuro ICU not neonatal
