  1. I got the same email! So some got full rejections?
  2. I think I remember seeing that they had rolling interviews last year so they don’t send all the invitations out at once
  3. I'm still waiting to hear back as well! I applied right before the deadline.
  4. Hi everyone! I am applying for the New Grad Residency at Duke graduating December 2020 and wanted to hear from you all who went through this process earlier this year. Is there anyone who got accepted into the CTICU? I would love to hear about your experiences working there so far and how the application process was. Also, did they require an ICU preceptorship? My cohort received 0 ICU preceptorships because of COVID. Thanks so much!
  5. Thanks for the help! I've heard good things about STARRN. Are you with a preceptor for more time than you would be on regular orientation?
  6. Hi everyone! I'm currently in an accelerated 2nd degree nursing program, and would love to go straight to the ICU if possible. I do not have hospital experience other than what clinicals will provide, and am looking to see if people have specific recommendations of ICU residencies that accept new grads! I live in VA and would love to stay as close as possible, but would be interested in other states like NC, SC, or GA. Even if you don't have a suggestion from that state, I'd love to hear experiences in New Grad ICU residencies and where they were! I'm specifically looking for a good residency to try to set myself up as best as possible for success, since I know going into the ICU as a new grad is super overwhelming. Thank you for the help!
