Children's Hospital Los Angeles has a RN transition program. I just got accepted and the program starts Feb 2020 ?

Help! i need to brush up on my pediatric dosage calculation before the program. Does anyone have any good study resources? (my appt with HR/test date is Jan 27)

Thank you! I'm excited to start. I got the official letter yesterday. whoohoo! Good luck on your interview! The interview was about 40 min long and they asked me a lot of questions about how i handle tough situations, how i get creative if we are short staff, what is my pet peeve, etc. It was tough but I spoke a lot about my current experience and how I can handle myself. They were very nice though! You got this:) you don't need a lot of prepping, just be confident and just apply what you know from your own experience to their questions.

I got an offer from 5West over the phone from the managers but still have yet to receive offer letter from HR. The recruiter told me I had to do another longer application and once thats done and submitted they would send me official offer letter. So did that the same day and submitted. The wait is killing me because I don't feel like I really got the job yet since I haven't received anything from HR. I am so excited but yet still want the official letter!!

I applied to CHOC RN fellowship yesterday and I was unable to send in my cover letter. I spoke to recruiter today and she said that I am unable to send it as attachment since I already submitted my application. Do you know if they will automatically reject my application since I don't have a cover letter attached with my resume? I am freaking out:/Help, any advice is appreciated.

I got an email a week and half ago to schedule an in person interview after a phone interview with the recruiter. It sounds like they are still contacting people for interviews so don't worry if you haven't heard anything yet. Where do you work at? what unit? I work on med surg and tele floor. I am so glad that they have a program like this for experienced nurses that want to get into a specialty.

Hello, I interviewed for 6West and will also be interviewing for 5West this week for the transition program. Crossing my fingers we get in! So far everyone seems to be really nice.
