Hi! For me it took about a month to get an interview invite for job fair that happened back in end of June? I don't remember but it took a while for valley med to process their applications LOL.. Does the current position have job fair as well? I don't think they let you know that you didn't get the interview.. but I'm not sure as well haha

Not yet! I'm waiting for HR enrollment docusign before I can even make an appointment for ID badge... If anything maybe by next week we'll get an update? I wonder if they will send out a massive email to everyone about the orientation and all.

Omgg they haven't called my references... I wonder if it's just me too because they called my friend's references too ? and it's almost been 2 weeks since I got my unofficial offer email LOL.. if you don't mind me asking what's the beginning of your last name.. I wonder if they actually call references in order based on last names ?

For TICU its September 5th.. did you get your official offer yet? And did they call all your references?

Hello just wanted to give an update for those who interviewed with TICU/SICU/IICU. They sent out an offer email right now! (Contingent if you pass the background and references)… ?

Yess I'm planning to go too just incase I don't get anything ? omgg I know what you mean I hope you get PCU/ atleast good sam is a little bit easier to get into.. If you're really desperate I know CHONC is hiring but they don't pay that much... but it's still something while you're looking at other places!! Also an update for PCU, my friend just got an email for second interview so I'm guessing all unit will do second interviews now..?

O no :((( did you only interview with ED? Also good sam job fair is on 6/12! You can register online if you want to but I don't think that matters. IDK if they'll be interviewing for ED but I know last cohort they did...

Thank you for this! I thought I was going to interview for MICU but went to wrong table and interviewed with CCU instead... I also did TICU/SICU but OMG did not feel good about it ? They barely ask me questions and I was expecting a lot of questions too... did anyone interview with TICU/SICU too??? Also I was told we will know in 2 weeks I hope you guys get it!

Based on the invitation email I think you can get multiple invitations for the interviews but I don't know I only got ICUs ? Did you want to do ICU?

I got my ranking too 87% and ranked 54. Tbh I heard ranking doesn't matter? I heard you can get interview even tho you're ranked 180+ haha. I didn't check PCU as my unit choice ahaha but I guess they're the first to interview ppl.. hopefully ICU/ peds will send out emails soon too ? When is PCU interview? Is it June 29? Here's some info about PCU after stalking different forum ahaha "The interview is straight forward. In my case, two assistant nurse managers interviewed me. One of the scenario questionsincluded was, what would you do to prevent an older adult patient withdementia from getting off the bedand falling? I let them know that Iwould know by then the hospital policy on fall precautions, I wouldput a bed alarm, non-skid socks, maintain a calm environment, nurse call button close, etc. Because this is for new grads and nurses changingspecialty, they expect that we know the basics about communication,peer rapport, basic safety measures, etc.” "I met with the manager who asked me 2-3 scenario questions. They called me the following Monday. Interviewquestions were the same questionsyou mainly get asked.. tell me aboutyourself. Why do you wan to workhere. Strengths/weakness. Questions like that. " "Most of the questions were behavioral scenario and then I got two pretty basic clinical scenario questions. One question I got that caught me a little off guard was "what's amisconception people have about you and what do you do about that", but the rest of the questions were straight forward. I had a brief interview with the manager after that who asked more clinical scenario questions but all were straightforward.”  Tbh I'm more scared for the clinical scenarios.. like I have forgotten everything ? if anyone have example qs please share with us!

I applied to both hahaha just because the unclassified specialty have NICU/PICU and other units that I'm interested in. I got my ranking for the ICUs but I'm more interested in pediatric so hopefully it's okay to apply to both.

Hello! How did your interview go?

Was this for staRN program thats supposed to start April 24? I interviewed back in January and got the verbal offer for this program too but after reaching out a thousand times about the offer they finally told me they already hired everyone and I guess I didn't make it to that list... my friend's bf interviewed last minute and got the offer so I'm super confused on how they pick their candidates and IDK why they would offer the job to everyone but didn't give them the actual offers.. but if your husband has prior nursing experience the staRN plus for ICU is open right now and maybe he can try again next month for next cohort that'll start in July 31! Maybe this time apply last minute instead of early? Hahaha

I was wondering if theres anyone else applying for Regional/ Good Sam Hospital StaRN ICU or ED PLUS?? Just wanted to know if anyone got an interview yet or not. Thank you!

When you said you just got your offer letter is it right now or earlier today?? Yeah when I interviewed with the nursing manager she already told me she already have someone for CVICU hahaha welp hello she really likes you ? Congrats btw!!

OMG CONGRATS!! I haven't heard anything back but I know the ICU only have one spot left and the manager interviewed 13ppl for that one spot ? I won't give up hope until tmr haha lmk how the onboarding process is!!
