I spoke with an enrollment specialist at Chaminade and she stated if you have AA, AS, or BS degree, they’ll be waiving all general education requirements effective fall 2020!

Did anyone else get a letter? NSO is so far from now!

Last semester they accepted 10 students and then after NSO I believe they accepted 8 more. Hopefully, they do the same this semester!

I also think they won’t accept students for fall. Especially because trump extended the social distancing to 4/30 and they have to make a decision by early May

I spoke with the advising office and they said our semester will continue as usual. We won’t be having any clinicals our first semester so it won’t be affected

Has anyone heard about Chaminade turning into a two year BSN program for transfer students? I spoke with Admissons about it and they said it was in the works. Not to sure when though!

I’m so used to my ego being shot, I’m immune to it already. LOL. I only chose Chaminade bcus I went to HPU ten years ago and didn’t take school seriously at the time. My GPA is messed up there.

Hi guys, so I just called the KCC nursing advising office and they’ll be out of office next week. I asked to see if there were any changes because of COVID19 and they said we might hear something in April. She also mentioned bcus everything is online for the current nursing students, everything might get pushed back. So the current students might have to go into Summer to get clinical hours or if not Summer then I’m assuming fall. SOOO WHAT I'm THINKING is if the current students don’t get their clinical hours, they won’t be taking nursing students this fall. This is bcus the current nursing students need to repeat for clinical hours. This also depends on instructor available. These are my thoughts, she didn’t say that exactly, but thats what I’m assuming because KCC is already short on instructors. It just seemed like everything is up in the air. I really hope everything works out. Stay safe and stay home if you can everyone! if anyone else can call and get more info, that would be great!

Hi there!! This is my third time applying. I was waitlisted twice with a TEAS of 82.7% Pre-req: All A’s and one B for lab Co-reqs: all A’s Exp: Currently a nurse aid, CNA training program, BLS certified TEAS: 84% I called and they said they were possibly going to send out letters end of this month ? She also said there were only 80 applicants. AND if you check KCC class availability for class NUR 210 looks like there are 18 openings. I wonder how many LPN To ADN student they will be taking.
