  1. I just got accepted today off the waitlist! I’m so excited to join the class! I will head over to the facebook group! Can’t wait to meet all of you
  2. I’m not sure if that question was to me but Jasmine called me on the 26th two Fridays ago and left me a message that they had made a decision and she would call me back on Monday but she never called back. I tried calling all last week and wrote an email and got no response. I was left in such suspense for almost two weeks! I finally heard back from Jasmine today and I did not get in. She said she went on vacation. It was a little disappointing how no one got back to me and the news itself was disappointing but at least now I know. Congrats to those of you that got accepted!
  3. Hi sorry about that call. Maybe my call was similar. Jasmine left a message and just said they made a decision and that she would try calling me back. That was last week and I haven’t heard anything or have been able to get through.
  4. Has anyone heard anything yet? I missed a call From them on Friday and have been trying to call back and can’t reach anyone.
  5. That’s awesome! What a relief and what an accomplishment! So happy for you! I hope I get that call and email too.... ??
  6. That is such wonderful news! Congrats!! Did they email you or call you?
  7. Haven’t heard anything yet ..... hopefully soon
  8. They just wrote me today to invite me for an interview. Interesting, it seems like they have done interviews over such a large span of time. Congrats to those of you that got in
  9. Hi. Does anyone know the exact start date of the program? I am on the waitlist too but I am getting anxious about finances. I saw that the FAFSA is due May 7 but that we can apply now even if not accepted yet. But when does the program start? If we did the FAFSA in may, is that enough time to get financial aid (in case we get in). I keep seeing on the website that it starts in Summer but not sure when. I also see there is a supplemental financial aid application. Any insight from anyone? Thanks
  10. Thanks, I just requested to join....
  11. Second year in a row I didn’t get an interview. Just found out today ????.... that is truly amazing for those of you that did... it’s so hard! Congratulations
  12. Hi, I am also coming from out of state. I don't want to buy all new furniture. Do you know if there are furnished apartments available near campus? I asked someone from student services and he told me there are not any furnished apartments in the area. Is that true? That seems so weird to me especially with graduate students around.
  13. All the advice that I have gotten is to enjoy this time off before school starts. They will teach us what we need to know. If you are really worried though you could take a course ahead of time.
  14. Hi NKNK1, have you been to the CRNA Prep Academy website? It is a wonderful resource. You can listen to mock interviews and get a feel for questions and answers, there is a ton of clinical topics to look over, they also have a question database of a bunch of interview questions, and you can even set up a personal one on one mock interview. They give advice too, I think everyone has to be prepared to answer “tell me about yourself or why you want to be a CRNA” the rest is usually a combo of clinical and personal. And make sure you know about the role of a CRNA, the profession, the difference between a DNP and DNAP things like that. They say be prepared to answer anything clinical as if you were taking the CCRN but many at the very least know very thoroughly what you do in your unit, drugs you use, conditions you see, equipment you use. I know that sounds general but that is really how all the schools are, the difference in schools then is just that some may be more clinical heavy and some more personal heavy. But if you go to that site there are tons of practice interview questions! Just Google CRNA prep academy
