  1. We’re not allowed in the hospitals right now and we’re hoping to be able to go into the hospital’s next semester. We’re doing online case studies with our clinical group to make up for the loss of clinical. It’s definitely hard now that classes are online. I have a question for you.. I may need to take a leave of absence next semester. They’re a year long right? Were you in the middle of the semester when you decided to take the leave? It was it decided before the semester started? Sorry I’m asking a lot of questions. LOL
  2. I’m currently in my 1st semester of nursing school. I have a 6 year old daughter who is in the first grade. I attend class at night M-F currently and while I make the change from work to school, my daughter gets picked up by her dads family members. (Dad is not in the picture) She is failing 1st grade and is on the cusp of retention due to her lack of reading skills. I have advised the family of this and have asked that they work with her to help her bc I am not home. It doesn’t seem they are doing as I have asked. Also I pick her up after class ends around 9:30-10ish and take her home and put her to bed. It is late, I understand that. I found out today that my daughter is falling asleep in class from another student in her class. I’m at a loss. I don’t know what to do. Do I continue with my education or put mine on hold to help my daughter with hers since it seems like no one is helping me help her? I’ve been a total wreck over this. I’m not quite sure what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
  3. I’d be interested. What’s a groupme?
  4. Hi Claudia! Congrats! If you search up “Bergen community college nursing Program - evening spring 2020” it comes up. We don’t know what sections we are in yet for classes but if you go under your self service and look under the course catalog, find nursing and look under 181, 182, and 183 you will see what days and times there are. It’s Monday through Friday. Make sure you’re looking under spring 2020. Hope this helps!
  5. Hey so for the uniform, what kind of shoes do you wear? I’m trying to find a good shoe to wear.
  6. Yes I think it is whatever you get for your schedule you get. For the first semester they will register you for classes. For every semester thereafter you have to register for
  7. i just created a group for Facebook. Bergen community college nursing program -evening spring 2020. If you have Facebook add it!
  8. Yay congrats to all of us who got in! So excited!
  9. That’s what I meant. If that’s truly the case, My cumulative gpa for science and English is like a 3.8. Thank you, I hope we all get in!
  10. Anything is possible. I currently have a 3.25 gpa (was a 4.0 at the time of application) I had failed a summer course In literature bc I was going through something personal.. anyway I scored an 80 on my teas. I’m not sure if it’s your accumulative gpa or just science/math gpa idk. Also still waiting. I guess next week we’ll be hearing back if we got in
  11. To be honest, it’s 60% your teas score and 40% gpa. I would say if you did really well on the teas. Like in the 90s there is hope. You can always retake some classes to bring your gpa up as well if you don’t get in to the program the first time.
  12. That’s what I’ve been checking multiple times per day. I was getting g worried bc I was reading from old posts that if you don’t get in, it won’t change. I was wondering if I just didn’t get in for a while ?
