  1. Hello @Ni Kai, Yes I got accepted to the program around last week. You will get into the program, it’s just a matter of seat availability ?
  2. This program is a bit all over the place that’s for sure. Usually with other programs their admission offers last for 6-8weeks which is the norm so I think it’s odd to have it at 1 week.
  3. Hello @Ni Kai Those who were granted admission to the absn program are allowed up to 1 week from their admission offer date to finalize and send out their intent to enroll form.
  4. Hello @Lvn99 I also had some miscommunication through my current situation. My enrollment coach said that I will start my nursing core classes for the fall 2020 term, however, on my acceptance letter it states that I will start my nursing core classes in August which is the Summer 2020 term. Is the advisor you are speaking to helping you with scheduling your classes? I have yet to send my intent to enroll form so I haven’t scheduled an appointment for my advisor.
  5. Thank you @619nurse ?
  6. Hello all, I also received a phone call from my enrollment coach saying that I have been offered a seat for the fall 2020 cohort. I am beyond excited, however, I still have some questions about the supplemental courses we have to take and how long we have until we make our final decision to accept our seat in the program. I'll let you know once my enrollment coach answers these questions.
  7. No not at all. The questions I asked were about the kinds of student resources apu has to offer, doing presentations on desired research, and community outreach programs.
  8. Honestly, you will do fine. What I did to prepare myself for the interview was researching apu’s history and practice saying my answers out loud. As what many others have stated, it was a conversational interview. Be sure to have post interview questions as well. Good luck !
  9. I want to say it was around 5 or so questions which were pretty standard interview questions. The questions I had were: why nursing, why apu, what are your strengths, what are your weaknesses, how do you handle stress, tell me a time where you had a dilemma with a coworker. My interview was approximately 45min in total.
  10. CONGRATS and good luck on your interview! Same over here, I applied rather late so fingers crossed.
  11. Good luck on your virtual interview, puglover!
  12. Hello, I will be having my interview for the Monrovia campus on St. Patrick’s day, but it will be remotely because of the covid-19 outbreak. Good luck on your interview:-)
  13. Hello Akur94, Thank you for your informative response, I appreciate it! I have an interview next Tuesday at the Monrovia campus so I want to bring my A game.
  14. Hello AKur94, Do you mind going through briefly how your interview process went?
  15. Hello, Not sure if anyone knew this, but if you are waiting for a potential interview make sure that you answer your phone! I was so focused on checking my emails and mail for an interview that I missed their call!
  16. I’m planning to go to school full time and just bite the bullet and use a loan to help me. I’m also planning on moving to San Diego if I get accepted lol.
  17. Hello Dc117, Congratulations on your acceptance to the program! How long did it take for you to receive your acceptance?
  18. Hello there, I just applied for Brandman University's ABSN program and it was rather easy. It took me about an hour to have all the requirements done. I will give an update as to how the admission process goes on this post.? Wish me luck!
