Failed Nclex after 2 years now what?
Hello, I'm sorry to hear that. Seeing as how you made it to 255 questions with the time running out, maybe you are wasting too much time overthinking questions? Taking time on a question isn't a bad thing, but the NCLEX is tricky like that. I've noticed in my practice exams that the ones I got wrong were the ones I kept second-guessing myself on. Sometimes you just gotta go with your gut, choose and hit next, no matter how scary. You shouldn't be taking more than 1 minute to answer some of the questions on the exam because they may end up being super simple but the anxiety makes you overthink. When you study, are you studying in practice mode or exam mode? You say you're doing 75-100 questions for 8 hours a day but is that through only one study application or across multiple applications (i.e, 20 q's in UWorld then 40 q's in Kaplan then another 40 in ATI). I think it's more helpful by focusing on one at a time (I found UWorld's qbank sufficient enough on its own to prepare for the NCLEX) so you don't become overwhelmed. Also when studying, remember to take breaks. Sitting at a desk for hours at a time without breaks won't help you at all. Give your brain some time to process what it has just learned then get back into it and review. Hope these study tips help. Focus on improving your studying tactics and I promise you will get your license soon. Best of luck to you!

NCLEX tips recommendation
Used Uworld and Saunders Comprehensive Review. Set a schedule and focus on your worst topics for the first few weeks; try answer at least 50-75 questions a day; utilize the "exam mode" option to get the feel of the real exam; study in intervals--studying too long won't help you learn if your brain can't take it; look up diseases you're not familiar with on youtube (helped me visualize significant symptoms); take the time to understand why answers are right and wrong (in other words, take note of the rationales); take breaks; get a lot of sleep before the exam; go in prepared to answer all 265 questions the day of RegisteredNurseRN on YouTube especially helped me out explaining important NCLEX topics when I was in a time crunch. Good luck to you!

Lost in NCLEX resources
I feel that using too many sources at once can overwhelm you. I personally used UWorld and youtube videos to study for my nclex. I would say I used my saunders comprehensive review book, but because it had so much information, I skimmed through it for the important nclex stuff. Think back to how you were preparing yourself for your previous exam: Do you think you truly utilized your resources to the best of your ability? Did you get enough sleep? When you studied, did it feel productive? You must question yourself and find the solution from there as well. If you study effectively, you don't need to utilize so many sources at once and you'll be prepared! Good luck to you!

NCLEX Study Review. Old RN but still a goodie!
First off, good on you!! You already passed it once, so you can definitely pass it again! In terms of quick content review, I highly suggest looking up "RegisteredNurseRN" on youtube! She does a really good job of explaining major topics in a short time and provides you quizzes and such afterward to see if you've retained the information. Plus, it's all free! Good luck to you on your exam!
