  1. My friend Jodi is attending the San Antonio campus there and she's going into her last quarter 07/10. Congrats!
  2. I am currently in the Galen LVN evening program and will be graduating in December. I like that it has been online because it is convenient but price was is ridiculous. Only reason I ended up going here was because I really wanted to just go straight for my RN but I could not pass the TEAS I always missed by one point and was tired of waiting to become a nurse. So I have started off with the LVN thank god for student financial assistance and with student loans we have not had any interest rate the whole time I have been in the program because of COVID. I have had a few instructors that I like but I will not be going back for my RN there. For one I am moving back to DFW area and two I don't want to pay so much for that program. But if it is your only option it is one of the easiest schools to get into. I also made a 98 on the entrance exam for LVN and you need an 83 I believe but with the BSN you need a 101 and I really wanted to do just that but they would not even consider it even though I had all my pre reqs. I would keep calling them we are still not back at campus and it is hard to get ahold of people at times which sucks.
  3. Hey everyone I got my acceptance letter for the LVN program at Galen. I’m just wondering what all is done at the enrollment appointment... I have 2 little kids I stay home with and wondering if they do finger prints, drug test, financial aid and getting scrubs, do they do this at the appointment? Or would I have to go to a separate place to have the finger printing and drug testing done? I’m just trying to prepare to find care for my kiddos and wanted to try to do it all in one day. Thank you in advance! -Tessa

So it says they look at our teas score , gpa and also what we do if we have any medical experience which I’ve been a MA for 7 years. I’m just so nervous and really really want to get in. How do I know what all they look for? I’ve been searching but haven’t found anything. I am planning on going to baptist school of health professionals in San Antonio Tx.

Okay I took the TEAS 6 and didnt do well I’m taking it again and I have the ATI study manual. The questions in the book are they going to be the same ones that are on the test? I really need to pass this and also does nursing school mainly look at the TEAS test?
