  3. I made a group would be great for us to get to know each other. Hopefully find housing on Facebook. This is the name on FB: Rush University MSN/GEM 2020 Spring

  5. You have to be kidding me...they pushed it back again??? Very annoying and unprofessional on the schools part. Sets a bad precedent for how the program is run.

  13. I have a 3.5 GPA in public health, I was waitlisted last year Fall and Spring. I still have not heard back yet and I'm beginning to feel like its going to be the same thing again this year Spring. I am also MD based. I already got into another school, but I really wanted to go to Hopkins.
  14. Thank you I thought questions would more along the lines of "why do you want to be a nurse" "why our school" "what do you bring to the program" and such and such. How was GEM first look?
  15. How the interviews going for everyone? What are they asking you?
  16. I submitted my application in July it was also finalized this July, but I did not receive confirmation of an interview till this week. So now I am confused as to why everything sounds so disorganized. This was the email I received. Thank you for your application to Rush University College of Nursing. We would like to cordially invite you to be interviewed on campus by one of our faculty. Steps to Complete Interview Registration: Interviews will be held on September 6, September 9, September 10, September 11, September 12, and September 13. Please note, the interview times available on Friday, September 6, 2019 are reserved for applicants who must travel by air. For an on-campus interview, please email us at [email protected] with your preferred dates and morning (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) or afternoon (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM). Please pick two days and indicate morning or afternoon. Example: First Choice: Monday, September 9- morning Second Choice: Thursday, September 12- afternoon Although we strongly recommend applicants schedule an on-campus interview, we understand that due to our applicants being geographically diverse, everyone may not be able to attend an on-campus interview. For applicants to whom this applies, a virtual interview (WebEX) can be scheduled. Please note – the availability for online interviews are very limited and reserved for applicants that are 150 miles or more from the Rush University campus. If you are unable to be physically present for an interview during the scheduled times, please contact myself, Meghan O’Malley, at [email protected] to schedule a WebEX interview. GEM First Look: As part of the interview process, you have been invited to learn more about the Generalist Entry Masters (GEM) program on September 7, 2019 at the GEM First Look. Please RSVP for the GEM First Look by August 26 at https://forms.gle/QvDu3gPPM3fGJrMC8 . Although we strongly recommend applicants attend the GEM First Look, we understand everyone may not be able to attend the GEM First Look. Best,

  23. I have been waitlisted twice I applied 2018, and 2019 because JHU has an amazing MSN program and I did not want to leave Maryland...fingers crossed things go my way this time
