  1. Just declined my acceptance! I know that whoever gets the open seat is going to do so great! Good luck!!
  2. I was accepted and I completed my Bachelors in Education 2013... I don’t think that has anything to do with it. Good thinking though! Maybe one day someone will figure it out ?.
  3. I don’t know if I am going to accept yet, but also don’t know when I will feel confident in my decision. Just praying through it right now! I won’t hold the spot any longer than I need to though.
  4. It was sent around noon. Sorry I have been at work and didn’t check it until right before I posted that comment!
  5. Just got accepted! Got an email, but haven’t checked my status yet. I have a Bachelors in Education. My GPA is 4.0 with no repeats and my Hese score was 96%. From what I can tell it’s a pretty random process. If you did not get accepted do not get discouraged! There are quite a few other programs that are also amazing and you can apply again. In the end it doesn’t actually matter where you go, so don’t let that stop you! I am 29 and am going back to school to chase a dream I have had for a long time. I say this to say that for those of you who are younger, you still have so much time! I know that probably doesn’t feel very helpful to hear, but I went on a whole round about journey before I even got here so most of you all are already ahead of me! Keep your chin up and keep on fighting for your dreams!
  6. Yes they said we will know by November 15th. I am not holding my breath for today and expecting it to be closer to the beginning of November so that if it’s earlier I am surprised but if it’s much later I am not super disappointed.
  7. It at least seems like if not tomorrow it may be in the next couple of weeks which is exciting! Does anyone know where/ how most people found out? Was it on the website or by email?
  8. I don’t know, but that is a really great idea if they do! Where are taking it over Christmas?
  9. No it was in the actual mail ? I am sure yours is coming soon!
  10. I just got it today. I know I have been trying to be patient! I sent everything mid July, and my last one the middle of August.
  11. I just got my transcript evaluation! My GPA was what I had calculated and thankfully no surprises on which classes of mine transferred, but it is still nice to see it all on paper.
  12. Happy application day everyone! All that we can do has been done, so now we sit and wait. I wish the best of luck to all of you!!
  13. This exact same thing happened to me. Call the registrars office and ask to speak to Esther (I think that was her name). She is the lady in charge of getting Hesi scores. What happens is if they get your score before they have an application on file they don’t know to keep it. In other words they don’t know what they don’t know, so if there isn’t a person to match a score to it kind of gets lost from my understanding. She was SO helpful though and found mine for me and uploaded it to my account. I would call the UTHealth registrars office for sure!
  14. Yes, I have sent two from LoneStar. You have to type University if Texas Health Science Center Houston in the box for the school you went your transcript to be sent to. As you type that it should pull up as an option to select. I hope that helps!
  15. Do you know specifically what we need? Or could you post a link to where you found it on the website please? I have been looking but I haven’t been able to find a list. Thank you!
  16. I am pretty sure I read somewhere Walgreens clinic does them for fairly inexpensive. There are also county clinics that do immunizations at $10-$15 per immunization. I have no clue where but I know they do exist. It might be worth looking at past feeds if you have time to see if anyone posted any kind of tips about it there. Hopefully you can find something!
  17. I did the same thing! I am pretty sure there is no way to edit the application though. I don’t know that it would have mattered since I don’t think work experience is heavily considered.
  18. Ok that makes sense. I am so glad you are on here to answer all of my questions. Thanks for being so helpful!!
  19. Also, I am sending my last transcript with the graded course work I just completed. I had enough hours to apply and be considered before taking these last two prereqs, but I would really like them to include this transcript when they consider my application because it’s got my A&P2 grade on it. This may be a dumb questions, but does anyone know if I have to notify them that I have an additional transcript or will they automatically include it when they put my application together for the board?
  20. I called and was told that they had done my transcript evaluation and it was going to be sent by mail. So maybe we will start getting those soon ?.
  21. If I don’t get accepted I am planning on applying to Summer 2020 also! It’s my first time applying but it looks like it’s not uncommon for people to go through a few application rounds before they get in. Honestly, judging from past threads the stats for people who were accepted are all over the place so I think you are definitely competitive. I am sure anyone on here who applied for fall and got denied will tell you the same thing!
  22. Does anyone know if our transcripts have to be sent by 9/1 or received by 9/1? I am still waiting for one professor to post my grade and am nervous I won’t make it if they have to receive it by 9/1.
  23. Ok, I am really late to the party here and would love some help. I was only applying for the Pacesetter program at UTHealth because the other programs in the area seemed much longer. Well yesterday I found the TWU program for the first time. I have scoured the website and the first advising appointment I can set up is for Sept. 5., but there is some info I can’t find. It looks like I have the majority of what I need to apply as a transfer for the program but would someone help me by telling me when the application deadline for Spring is or even just link the info page? is anyone else planning to apply as a transfer for just the nursing part of the program in Houston? I am nervous I am already too late. I am on a bit of a time crunch to get in someplace so having another BSN program to apply to would be amazing. Thanks!
  24. Hey everyone! I have been following along here but this is my first post. I submitted my application in July for the Pacesetter program and wondered if anyone knows when they complete official transcript evaluations? I looked through some of the last threads but couldn’t seem to find that. I got my BA in Education from a private university so a lot of my classes are named differently. I hoping I get mine in time to register for any classes that don’t transfer.
