  1. That’s weird — I had no idea that was even a possibility (!). I didn’t even get an interview and my application has been rolled over to the next cohort. In my opinion, you still might have a chance to be accepted as classes haven’t even begun yet. In the meantime, I would reach out to my advisor and let them know you are in the alternate list and still interested in the Oct cohort (and ask if they could tell you what number you might be). I would also say that while you are patiently waiting, if there is anything you need to do to be eligible for the Feb 2020 cohort, if you are not accepted after the October start date. It can be a friendly, casual conversation to help you get more info (and feel less in limbo).
  2. So, you went through the interview process for October and did not get accepted to the cohort but were told that you were now on an alternate list (as in you might be accepted if someone drops out, etc)? Have they told you what number you are on the alternate list?
  3. Oh, I hope that’s true. Thanks for sharing!
  4. Hello! Have you spoken with an ABSN advisor yet at Roseman? If not, I would recommend it. They are very helpful. On the website, is the info for the pre-reqs: https://acceleratednursing.roseman.edu/admissions/requirements-prerequisites/ An advisor can discuss your grades, GPA, and TEAS scores to determine your competitiveness. The advisor I had suggested a 75% on the TEAS is competitive. Naturally, the higher everything is, the better. However, don’t let this stop you from applying. I have been rolled-over for review to the next cohort, but my GPA is 3.4 and my TEAS is 76%. I was told by Roseman that those scores are competitive. I think the earlier you apply, the better your chances. Best of luck!
  5. Hello. I took the TEAS back in May and got an overall 76%. I am applying to an additional school that requires the HESI A2. I’m a bit more freaked out about the HESI as it is even longer than the TEAS. Also, I will have to raise my science score for the HESI (I got 63%). Ugh. Can anyone please share experiences with both exams? Is HESI harder? Do I need to prepare differently for the HESI than I did for the TEAS? I’m poor and cannot afford any more prep books. Also, was the CHEM section hard (did you have to use chem equations)? Thank you all !
  6. I don’t see how a sept interview will be possible as our files have not been reviewed yet — and with the delay of the rollover application. It’s crazy. I was also told that rollovers are not given any priority, but have the advantage of applying early.
  7. I am still waiting as well. Nothing yet. I was told it would be mid-month, but still waiting. ?
  8. Me too!!! I really don’t understand.
  9. My application was submitted in late May and my transcripts were verified in NursingCAS in mid-June. My advisor confirmed on July 1 that everything was done.
  10. Ok - so it seems that even though I applied on time for the fall admission, my application was not even reviewed before the interview invitations were sent. They are now offering rollover to the next term. Has this happened to anyone?!
  11. Thanks so much for sharing. My overall gpa is 3.4 and my last 60 units is 3.8. My Teas is 76%.
  12. Thank you, Dat — and congrats on your interview! ? Do you mind if I ask what your scores are (GPA and Teas)? ??
  13. Thanks Minnie. I am so sorry to hear your news. I haven’t even received that courtesy yet.
  14. I received the 7/17 email that not everyone will get an interview but have not received any email invitation yet (or any communication at all). It seems like people received emails last week. Is it over? Did I not make it? ?
