  2. Thanks, I am hoping to get one where the classes on campus are in the mornings and the rest is online so it will work well. ?
  3. YAY! I so hope I get that block so just one day a week? No problem.. what block is that?
  4. and when do we finish at the school, need to make sure I can be home in time to get my kiddos.. or hire a sitter if I need. Are we required to be there every week?
  5. YAY and what times are the ones on campus for please? it says sometimes we have to go to the college?
  6. I GOT INTO GEORGE BROWN! I am so excited...who else is going to GB? I am waiting for my offer to be updated in there system as excepted; in the mean time can someone tell me what the timetables look like? Block registration or can you build it yourself. can you get an exemption for past English classes.. How do you pick electives and what ones are good? is there a FB for us? I am so excited I am gonna burst!!
  7. Hello, I am in the Full time Program starting Sept 7th. Can someone please give me information on how the over all program is? How are the professors? did you/ do you like the program? how is it working on line? group work still? What type of placements did/do you have? having a hard time finding posts about people experiences while in the actual program. thanks
  8. oh thanks - how did you find the program? is there a lot of work.? manageable?
  9. I am torn, I really want GB and was told my application is still being considered. I wonder if I can still get an offer if I accept the centennial offer.
  10. Hello, has anyone taken this program? I am wondering if someone can tell me what it is like and how often you are on campus? what are the classes like? professors? is this program self directed like mcmaster? basically any information anyone can provide would be great. Oh and what colour are the scrubs. LOL
  11. NOPE, yesterday it said rejected for Septembers fulltime and flex. I was rejected because my school didn't send my transcript to them showing I graduated and I did not have a license with the CNO without restrictions (I only had a temp). It said no decision yet for January's flex program.. I have been emailing and trying to get all the required documents to them which I did finally. I was told however it was January Flex or nothing... Low and behold I was offered a full time spot.. So if GB doesn't come through as that is my first choice, then centennial it is... I should mention they told me the following: We will now issue an offer of admission for you to start the 9251-Bridging to University Nursing program from September 2021 semester, you will receive an Offer Letter by email and then can go to your OCAS account to accept the offer. Unfortunately, our 9253-Bridging to University Nursing Flexible program for both September 2021 and January 2022 is full now, thus we cannot offer you admission into that program, but have kept you in our waitlist and can only accommodate you if a student withdraws, which is highly unlikely at this time.
  12. I got an offer for Centennial today!! 9251 - FULL TIME starting September!! Does anyone know if there program is all on campus or not? or where I can find this information? Still waiting on George Brown! fingers crossed!!
  13. I was told they are full for both September programs and I have yet to hear about the January program..
  14. I think anyone who wrote before June 30th in Ontario got theirs, at least those I went to school with did, the rest of us are still waiting
  15. Umm I don't think this is totally true.. I applied October 3rd, 2020 the day registration opened and I too am still waiting. My GPA is over 3.0 and I finished in April as well; just a different school. I think a lot is based on the Casper test then anything else. I am told my application is still being considered throughout the application cycle (which goes until August I am told) because my casper results; while I passed, is not competitive with others they received... so here I sit to wait... Me too.... ? Waiting on GBC and January start at centennial now ? Send me your email and I will send you the CPNRE guides that I have..
  16. So how many of us are waiting? 4? I don't think any of us that have been chatting this thread got an offer yet.. did anyone? I won't do nippissing (sp) because 5 to 7 years is to long for me. I didn't do that great on my casper so I guess I have to read up on better ways to answer the questions. I thought I did good too ?
  17. I sent my temp license into GB and centennial and was advised that because the temp license shows up that you are to practice with restrictions it doesn't count and I have to wait until I get my actual license. So stupid... ? I got an email from Centennial telling me I did not get into the September programs but nothing for my application for January. GB told me I am still in the running and have to wait until they finish the application cycle; which tell me I am still waiting but honestly not very hopeful for September this year. I guess its either January or next September for me ? Man I really wanted to go TO GB - fingers crossed I get in... I have heard some people getting offers over the Summer so we shall see (not holding my breath though) My testing date is June 21, what about everyone else? what are you doing to study?
  18. I think its to early for thoses? I applied as well and have not heard anything as of yet.
  19. I am in the same boat as you, I write in June, I have a temp license right now and they will not accept as proof of registration with the CNO because it says I have restrictions as I can only work at the one place. They also told me they do not give conditional offers and have sent out all offers for the Hybrid and flex programs for Sept 2021 and Jan 2022, so we are all wait listed ? Can you start a new thread for this conversation please. makes the original thread get lost and hard to follow the conversation. Thanks
  20. I think you can only work at both just have the employment form completed for both locations and send them in together. Worse then could say is pick one.
  21. I have heard nothing yet but my application says they are waiting for proof I completed the RPN program before the conditional offer requirements are met so I am still waiting.. ughhh ME!! glad I am not the only one! many people have offers that expire this week so we can keep hoping... GBC is all online starting in September Is Centennial as well?
  22. I don't think that is accurate information.. Tuition for the flex all three terms is $5,456.65 Tuition for 2 terms at GB is $6,661.00 for 2 terms.. I think you have to decided if you want to work while in school or not. GB is geared to a full course load so working is hard to do and keep up with your studies,, the flex is over 3 terms as most students are working while in school so this makes it possible. Cost wise Centennial is the cheaper, but the program is longer so people can work and go to school.,
  23. It is based on a lot of things,I would suggest you go to the website of the school you want to attend and read the admission requirements as each school is different
