I have pharm. this semester and we were given a list of measurements to remember. I want to know once i rememberize all these most used measurements will i be able to calculate mostly all dosage calculation by using ratio and proportion. I am not very good in math,especially word problems. but if i can read the problem and take out the unknown measurement and solve it by using the known measurements(1kg=2.2lbs) using ratio and proportion makes it better for me to convert. I just want to know will this be true in most causes. If anyone can help me simplify pharm. please please feel free to pm me. I am a very hard working student and i don't want pharm to slow me down. :)

hey i want to know myself about Grady Hospital, it has been years since i have been there, use to live there many years ago probably back in 1993-4 i attended Grady high school. I have though about moving back there when i graduate from nursing school and also considering other places. all i know is I want to move away from Mississippi. Grady hospital put me in mind of UMC here in Mississippi, it is good for experience b/c you see and learn everything but it is one of the worst place you can work. p.s. this does not have anything to do with anything but if anyone reads this message and knows anyone that attended Grady High school in 1993-4 or around that time please PM me and lets talk b/c i am looking for someone that attended school with me and has lost touch. i moved back to mississippi .so please anyone with info of this time can PM me anytime

hello, i am TamaraG. and i live in Hattieburg Ms. My husband wants to move when I graduate from nursing school and Boston Ma is one of the places he talks about. so i would like to know how much do LPN,s make right out of school in Boston at Home health or with any other agency. please anyone let me know the pay rate or the best place to work as a new LPN. yeah i know and that's what i am afraid of. those nclex question style test throws me way off (if you know what i mean lol) I have a nclex practice exam book and when i practice in it, it really scares me b/c when i think i have the correct answer it be wrong. oh well i guess i will just role with the program and keep my fingers crossed(lol) p.s. hopefully this stuff will all come together one day

my 1 semester in school was hard, but i made it through. Now i am vey concerned about my 2nd semester b/c everyone is making a big deal about med-surg and i just don't know what to expect. can someone please help me b/c i am very anxious right now, counting down my days left until school starts back. p.s. also is there a easy strategy to learn pharmocology:chuckle
