  1. Not that I know of ? I hope it comes soon!! Also my classmate found it in her spam so keep an eye out on that too!
  2. Noooo definitely no penalties! Don’t worry about that! Also, if you wanna test sooner, I would keep looking every morning bc people reschedule all the time. I randomly checked a couple weeks ago and found a test date for 3 days later at the location closest to me!
  3. New graduate mixer is a virtual thing they’re hosting. Not sure if every location is having a separate one or if all the new grads are in the same Teams Meeting. I tested a couple weeks ago bc I wanted to give myself time to review and retest if I needed. Some people in my class still haven’t gotten their ATT but I’m not really sure how that all works… I think you’ll be fine! They said there are people who don’t test until after orientation and still just continued on through.
  4. Which location are you working at? I can’t speak for all locations but MICU at temple has separated out from the COVID ICU(in the APSICU). I’ve heard / seen New grads are precepting in both so you’re not just learning about COVID patients. But it could all change depending on the patient population.
  5. Sharing bc I would want all the information possible: I worked with one of the Childrens Hiring Managers yesterday and he said there’s only one spot left at Children’s. He said they have interviews this week and will probably send out an offer this weekend. I thought I heard that NICU had already hired their 5-7 GNs but I am not 100% on that. If I were you I’d double check with either your recruiter or someone on the accuracy of all of this but that’s what I was told (this was just what the hiring manager said in a casual conversation yesterday).
  6. yes. I am graduating with my ADN and accepted a MICU offer. Starting my BSN classes in the Summer. You just have to start BSN coursework within 6 months of start date and complete it within 30 months.
  7. they emailed me an offer letter with my rate of pay, contingencies, etc. that I had to sign electronically within 72 hours.
  8. for some reason it won't let me message you. I am trying to send a message but it doesn't give me an option to press "send"
  9. not sure this will be much help bc different regions/hospitals seem to have a different schedule. So I'm sorry if this isn't helpful. but if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out. I'm also an internal applicant so maybe thats why I never received any emails about preffing. The recruiter asked me to pref when he called me. 9/3 submitted app 9/17 phone call from recruiter about unit and location prefs/GPA/previous experience. recruiter then set me up with an interview for my first choice and if I hadn't gotten that, he said would've called me and set me up for choice #2 and then continue from there. he really stressed that they want to try to put you where you want to be - so I thought that was very nice. 9/21 interview with department manager 9/23 offer phone call they said applicants usually hear back within ~72 hours and you have about the same amount of time to accept the offer but may be different for different hopsitals. also my applicant portal still says "not selected" even though I accepted the offer so please don't freak out if it says that before confirming with recruiter.
  10. ICU GN in Temple as far as I understood: $26.75 is starting pay $5 night shift diff $4 weekend diff $1.10 if you’re already a nurse tech there $1.10 raise every 6 months for up to 2 years 75¢ raise for BSN
  11. not sure how to reset password. if you try to apply to grapevine and you have already applied, it should give you a notice saying "you've already applied to this position" so maybe worst case, you could try doing that again?
  12. well I hope this week is your week to get a call back! if you applied to mclanes, make sure to attend the GN expo. one of the nurse managers told a student that she likes to select who to interview from those who attend the GN expo. also, make sure if you haven't, to apply through the internal portal on People Place, last square at the bottom called "search jobs and refer friends" IDK if that makes a difference but maybe it will flag you differently as an internal applicant?
  13. did you happen to apply to peds/neonatal/childrens positions? I have a couple friends who still haven't heard from them (McLanes) since it's a different recruiter from the main hopsital so maybe they're a little delayed? also I know people who still haven't heard from temple that applied to the main hospital. they just submitted their apps last week, so possible they're going in order of submissions?
  14. also I'm not sure if this is an isolated thing but in my application portal it stated I was "not selected" for all locations even though I had gotten an interview scheduled. I accepted the job offer and it still says "not selected" so reach out to you recruiter if anything seems wrong or you just want clarification - they are very nice and helpful. This is all for temple, which I hear is being a little quicker than dallas ^^ I have a couple friends that haven't heard from any dallas locations yet, if that helps you relax at least a little bit during this stressful time!
  15. A lot of us have been talking on the “Baylor Scott and White Residency February 2022” forum - if you want to be updated. I don’t know how to delete this post LOL
  16. Yes. I hear that some nurse managers choose to hire from the applicants that attend the GN Expo. I signed up for all locations that I applied to. Base pay from (what I hear) is $25 for new grads. $4-5 for night shift differential. Differential for weekends, too but I can’t remember what it is. ~$0.50 increase every 6 months for 2 years. Correct me if y’all have heard anything different
  17. I applied last week and never got a link for a virtual self interview thing. I did get a call from a recruiter today and got an interview scheduled for the ICU next week! Good luck to everyone applying. I hope the best for us all
  18. good morning! just wanted to start this thread for those who are applying to BSW new grad residency starting in the Winter of 2022. looking forward to hearing about everyone's experience and hopefully new jobs in a few months! I heard they are going to start to reach out to people next week ahh! post any questions here and hopefully we can all manage this crazy time together! what locations is everyone applying to? what are your aspirations for your first position? are you nervous? excited? ready to graduate!
  19. @FutureRN1 I hope we will get to see you in the Spring!! Check your emails frequently in the case you get picked up!!! Good luck to you ❤️
  20. Check your emails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. @lyssalynn3 they said it depends on faculty availability; I’ve seen acceptance pools of 30-40 in the past few semesters so maybe around there?
  22. @piperxo Nancy said “probably tomorrow”
