  1. Hi! I also interviewed on Monday for CNS, via Zoom call, and my interview experience basically echoes yours, nurselefteye. I thought that I went in with a lot of passion and experience, but I definitely felt thrown off course because I couldn't define NP vs CNS. I researched them, but I guess when we're not yet in the nursing profession it is hard to talk about the tremendous variety of roles! Especially since I don't see a lot of CNS's around me. The interview was roughly separated into 2 parts: first part was about what lead you to nursing, to this program/specialty, your goals, your future role, and also how you will succeed in the program. The second part is a bunch of situational questions: I also got the "time you went disagreed with your supervisor" question, as well as a "time that overwhelmed you" and a funny "when do you ask questions?" Half an hour really goes by fast! I barely had time to ask my questions (but perhaps that's because I rambled too much answering their questions, yikes). I wish everyone all the best! Although I've been feeling down/disappointed in my performance and doubtful of my prospects, I just hope that we will all end up where we're meant to be. ?
  2. Hello @JWho! I wish I had gone to that info session! Possibly could've met you, too. I think I will try to make the one on August 8th. Thanks for the tip about the personal statement. It is definitely the part of my application I am spending the most time/effort on and feel the most anxious about.
  3. Hi all! Like Karen, I'm applying to CNM/WHNP, inspired by the nurse-midwives I've seen in the hospitals I labor coach at (and also "Call the Midwife" on Netflix ? ). I've been working on my statements and gathering my letters of rec these few months and definitely feel the excitement/anxiety/anticipation of application cycle! Super glad for this online community to talk about this process. - ilee
