  1. I haven't made one but I wouldn't be opposed to one at all!
  2. I do! I just started by stretch of 5 off so I'm still transitioning back to day schedule lol
  3. TCU DNP-A Nurse Anesthesia Class of 2022 (I think that's right but I'm a little sleep deprived lol)
  4. I'm in too! Yayyy Do we want to make a facebook page or group me chat?
  5. Has anyone heard from TCU yet?
  6. Their website states 30-35 students accepted out of 80-120 applications received.
  7. Me, too. But that actually works better for me
  8. How were the personal questions?
  9. I've been told by several people in the program and who graduated that they will ask until you can't answer anymore. They are looking to see that you can admit when you don't know. I'm sure you did well!
  10. Just tried to sign up for LSUs interview but every date said the slots were full. I'm trying to get someone to cover my shift for one of those days because I'm scheduled to work every night they are offered. ? I emailed to see if there were going to be any alternate dates.
  11. Just got my invite from LSU
  12. Does anyone know if they notify those not invited for an interview or just email those with an offer?
  13. Congrats. Was it a call or email?
  14. I'm probably completely overpreparing but I would rather be able to offer more explanation of the MOA and them be happy with "it works on the alpha1 receptor" rather than not be able to tell them a drug works within the DAG/IP3 pathway and that be what they want to know. lol
  15. I've heard the same thing from CRNAs I know that went there. The best piece of advice that I have received so far is do not be afraid to say that you don't know an answer. They are looking for someone who will be a safe provider and ask for help when needed.
  16. Valid point. Haha! In the back of my mind I am kind of relieved that it will be over soon. I'm the type that likes to prepare a lot (maybe excessively)...so when I reach the point that I feel like I have done all that I can, that's when my nerves start to take over. I keep remindng myself that if all else fails, another year of critical care experience will do nothing but help. ?‍♀️
  17. Awesome, I bet we do! Me either! I have reviewed vent settings in detail, vasoactive drugs down to their G-proteins and ion channels, CCRN material, etc. I'm honestly more anxious about the personal question aspects of it as I tend to be a little socially awkward at times, lol. Hopefully, they find that slightly endearing. ?
  18. What time slot are you in? I'm 4:15 pm ?
  19. TCUs deadline was july 1st. I have my interview with FranU (Our Lady of the Lake) on Friday and am getting pretty nervous. Then TCU on Sept 3rd. ? I feel like I may hear something back from those two before hearing about an interview for LSU. ?‍♀️
  20. That's what I thought, too. But I haven't heard anything. It is going to be hard to get off of work on short notice.
  21. I did the same thing. I didnt include a pic either.
  22. Any news from lsu?
  23. This is amazing! Thank you for sharing!
  24. 3.8 GPA 310 GRE (151 Quant, 159 V) 4.0 writing 2 years by matriculation in MSICUs 2.5 years before that in PACU and a significant amount of shadowing. Letter of rec from manager, my preceptor, one of the anesthesiologists that I worked with, and the CRNA with whom I did most of my shadowing. CCRN 118/125 and CMC 74/75 BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS certified
  25. August 30th for OLOL for me ?
