Hi guys! I just created a facebook group - Emory Fall 2019 Nurse Residency! Please feel free to join and let anyone else you know who will be a part of the residency program in the fall as well!

Also I don’t know if any of you would be interested but I’m thinking about making a Facebook page for everyone that will be a part of the Emory fall residency program? It doesn’t matter which unit or hospital you’re at, I just thought it would be a nice way to meet new people and keep each other posted about things!

So Jessica said they were sending them out hopefully by the end of this week, so they should be delivered sometime next week! It all depends how fast they can get them out! Maybe just shoot her a quick email since you verbally accepted awhile go just to be sure! Okay yes I’ll definitely email you!

Thank you!!? so I was between neuro icu and surgical icu, and I went with neuro because I really loved the people I interviewed with and saw myself working on their unit, and I just had a really good/gut feeling about it! What units did you have interviews for??

I got a call yesterday with offers for the two units I interviewed for! Jessica said she would be calling people all week! After she called and told me the benefits and what to expect with the job, I told her I would call back within an hour as I wanted to just go over things with my parents! I called back and she was busy on the line with another person, but she did end up calling me back so I could accept! I imagine you would be hearing this week! And if not, she said you could always contact her to see what was going on

I’m not entirely sure, but I would try calling Human Resources if you haven’t already?

They held interviews for all the units on July 12th! I don’t know if they’ll be doing another round of interviews, but I would definitely call to ask since the program doesn’t start till October!

Thank you!? I wouldn’t worry!! They offered me the job on the spot during my interview, that’s the only reason I know - otherwise they said they would be contacting people within the next 1-2 weeks!
