  1. Thanks! Wishing you good luck on your bachelor's program!
  2. I recently graduated on April 2022. Just got my CA RN license and I've been telling people to not enroll to this school. This school took a lot of toll on my mental and physical health. I was an LVN for a few years but this school didn't really teach me anything. Learned more from my LVN program than this RN program. If you're a self-learner you can do well but if you prefer person-person teaching then I don't think this is the right program for you. I've personally encountered classmates who were accused of cheating even though they didn't and the program would give them contingency offers just so they don't quit the program and the school will keep getting money from them. It's a very shady program so just be aware of that.
  3. Hello! I am a new grad and Im currently having a hard time getting into hospitals. I do want to specialize in Infusion therapy but majority of job postings require hospital experience. It grabbed my attention when you said that you said that you specialized in infusion therapy before entering a hospital. Can you elaborate more on how you were able to do that?
  4. Trust your nursing intuition. I've just finished this program but I had to put in so much hard work, money and sacrifices. I mean that's what a nursing program can do to you. But I'm really begging yall to think about it. I would not recommend the emotional/physical stress majority of our class went through. I can go on to so many details about the negative experiences we've dealt with this school. I can't attest if other nursing schools are just like this but I'm currently going through therapy because of the emotional turmoil it caused me.
  5. Yeah, no problem! I had some classmates who were bored with just taking one class and wished they did the "three classes" in one semester path instead but just like what Pussycat Dolls said "be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it." hahaha.
  6. It really depends on a lot people and how you manage your time. In my experience, I had to not work full time. I was constantly doing homework. Lessons from Sherpath can take from 30 mins to an hour and we would get at least 10-14 lessons per week. We also get weekly quizzes with 100 questions that are based on what the lessons/chapters we had. We would get at least 5-10 chapters weekly and if you like to read the book (I stopped reading the book) some pages can take from 20 pages to 40 pages each chapter depending on the content. Remember that with each theory classes you have, there's clinical work also which consisted of Case studies, Shadow Health (which are simulations that can take at least an hour and half every simulation) and documentations in Typhon. So if you're taking Pharmacology, Medsurg 1 and Psych Theory. You are also taking Medsurg 1 Clinical and Psych Clinical (Pharmacology has no clinical). So essentially, you're pretty much doing 5 classes. Midterm and Finals with three classes is no joke because every other day I had midterm/finals in the same week. The pro's of doing 3 classes is that you get to advance faster and also some stuff you learn from Pharmacology can be applied in Medsurg 1 and Psychiatry. The con's are it can be really easy to mix up all the content and information in your head because of the three classes and if you don't do well one on of them then you risk the danger of retaking the class and having that in your record. I suggest to really think about your current priorities and your studying habits. There are people who have the mentality of "I just wanna get it done. I'll take as much classes as I can so I can get it done quick" but the real question is it smart for me to risk my grades just to finish in a faster rate or should I take my time to really know the contents? For me, once I got into the habit of doing things early, it became second nature. It's a lot of work but it can be done. I hope I provided you with some insights. ?
  7. Im in the same boat as you! passed the funda but not the pharm portion of gap exam. Wondering if it's doable to do pharm, medsurge 1 and psych altogether as there is an option to appeal!
