Ahh! We should be hearing back any day now, since the website says that the next steps will be sent by the 30th. Wondering if there is less applicants since they decided to only do NICU and PICU this round. Good luck everyone!

UCSD New Grad Residency March 2026
I thought positions wouldn't be posted until tomorrow! In the PowerPoint from the webinar, it says under preferred qualifications, "Externship, internship, and/or 100 or more clinical hours on a unit similar to the unit(s) you apply to." Does that mean we should only apply to the unit where we did our preceptorship/practicum?

Seattle Children's Feb 2026 New Grad Residency
Hi everyone! I thought I'd start this thread since the Seattle Children's Feb New Grad Residency will be opening soon. I am a new grad from NorCal, where finding a job is quite literally impossible right now. I'm wondering how competitive this residency is? My dream is to start in the NICU. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

Entry Level Masters vs. Accelerated BSN (ABSN)
Hi Everyone! I am currently a Junior in college pursuing a non-nursing degree and I have made the decision that I want to pursue nursing. I've researched a lot about ABSN Programs (Concordia University Irvine, Cal State LA, CSU San Marcos, Samuel Meritt, etc.) and thought that was the best option but then I started looking into Entry-Level Masters Programs (USD, UCI, UCD, Azusa Pacific, etc.) and now I'm just confused. Both only require a bachelor's degree before entering the program, so is there one that's better? My end goal is to work as a neonatal nurse/NICU and I don't have much interest in the business/teaching side of nursing. Thanks!
