UPenn Streamlined Post Masters Acute Care
I’m not sure what their rationale is but I’ve been hearing some boards of nursing are starting to frown on the idea of using work hours for all of the clinical requirements. That could be the reason for the switch. I can’t imagine why the program would shoot itself in the leg, by changing the one thing that made it stand out, without being compelled to do so.

Wait, what?! That’s crazy, the whole draw of the program was the ability to use work hours to meet the clinical requirements, otherwise the program is essentially no different than traditional postmasters programs. Did they say why?

Thank you so much for your response. Yours is the first positive review of the online postmasters program I’ve seen. Almost everyone I’ve talked to has complaints from feeling like the unwanted step-child compared to the on-campus students to dealing with disorganized instructors. Made me take a step back. Maybe the acute care side of things is where the issues are? Who knows but the feedback wasn’t encouraging.

UT Arlington’s online accelerated postmasters AGACNP.
Hello, I’m interested in getting more information about UT Arlington’s online accelerated postmasters AGACNP. I have some concerns because I heard there are no professors, and the classes are managed by “coaches” from Academic Partnerships who use class content from the actual professors in the on campus program. Sounds weird to me. So I’d like to hear from folks who have attended the online program. How was it? Any regrets? Would you recommend it? Thank you.
