Hello, I am entering my last semester of an ADN program and will graduate in May 2022. I can't believe it is almost here. There is so much to think about and do, to plan for after nursing school. I am writing to ask for your advice on how to best move forward. I am conflicted regarding where to start. I am interested in OB but also in adults. Would it be more beneficial to start with adults and then move to OB or visa versa? I don't want to limit my options as I am very open but want to gain experience while allowing mobility if or when I am ready. Also, I am in California and am very open to moving out of state. California is not yet part of the compact states for licensure. Do you recommend I get my license in California gain experience and then apply for a compact state license when I move or would it be more beneficial if I just start with a compact state license. I am still learning how the licensure works. Seems confusing. I appreciate any advise and help with these questions. Sincerely, luvnursing19

I clicked on the link that you provided which is what I went to before and then clicked on the information link and there is an asterisk next to Napa college and on the bottom it has the astric and says not accepting students so I'm not sure if they are just not accepting students from Napa or they're not accepting students at all. Can you please clarify about the bridge program with Sonoma State not operating right now? I looked at the website and the only one that's not operating on their website is Napa. It looks like Sonoma is still operating. Your clarification be greatly appreciated :-).

Hello all, just found this forum. I found out today that I got in to the Santa Rosa program. Congrats to everyone who got in and wishing all of you the very best who haven't heard yet or are on the alternate list. has anyone heard specifics about the Santa Rosa program from someone who's in it? Like are the professors supportive, approachable etc? Also do you know how to find the list of clinical rotation sites? I have looked everywhere online and can't find it. Thank you for any help that you can provide :-).

Hello all. I am in the process of making a decision between chabot and evergreen valley college. Was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about the evergreen or chabot program and if you know of anyone who has gone through either program.

Great plan :). you will get everything done later so taking today to soak in your amazing achievement is wonderful. :). I am pretty certain i will be accepting this spot. i got into one other school in February and have been doing everything they need so i have most of it done. Chabot was my top choice out of the 12 schools i applied to.
