@maryam1993 I start fall 2019 as well! I was a biology major and I can not imagine nursing being much harder besides the clinical portion. Maybe people who were not science majors had a hard time? Also the other schools I looked into also had bad reviews as well.

@sleepymonkey022 how is the program going? Have a lot of people failed out?

@_futurenurse1096_ I'm actually from NYC, but I will be relocating from Buffalo!

@_FutureRN_ I was provisionally accepted to the Syracuse campus in the fall and will most likely be attending!

I completely agree! I like that the program is hybrid, but some people do better in a traditional classroom setting. I was provisionally accepted to the Syracuse, NY location for the fall!

@sleepymonkey022 Thank you for the information! @Becca Curtis I have been researching others schools around the country and have read bad reviews about almost all of them! Any ABSN program is going to be difficult in my opinion!

@sleepymonkey022 Do the online classes involve a professor recording a video lecture? Or is it more like textbook readings?

@IntendingRN I would start in the fall and would have to relocate from Buffalo. How about you? I am not 100% if I will be going here yet, but I really like the idea of a hybrid format, and am leaning towards attending Utica.

@IntendingRN I was also provisionally accepted for the Syracuse campus. I was worried about the negative comments as well, but on the NCLEX website they have an 85 % first pass rate with over 100 students taking it. All of these accelerated nursing programs are difficult and I think the people who have bad experiences tend to voice their experience more.
