  1. What's more frustrating is that they basically said don't bother us until you receive an update.
  2. I'm so disappointed in NJCU, especially since we have not heard anything from them since April 15th. I would think today would be the latest considering many school deposits are due today. It is so inconsiderate.
  3. Yeah it is ridiculous. Today is the last day for me to submit my deposit for my other school but I wanted to hear bavk from njcu before making any decision. This is crazy.
  4. Same! Waitlisted! This waiting process is stressing me out.
  5. Im curious about this as well, I have been working as a medical scribe in the ER and internal medicine, as well as a medical assistant and during my time I have gained a significant amount of knowledge. I have found myself knowing more than 3/4th year medical students. So I wonder how hard the classes really are, or if they are just hard because some are not familiar with the material. I know many people that go into ABSN programs sometimes do not have a background in the medical/healthcare field.
  6. That is good to know, especially hearing from someone that is actually in the program. I currently work full time, as well as per diem elsewhere, I plan to leave my full time job if I get into NJCU.
  7. How feasible do you think working is, while in the program. Do you know anyone that did both?
  8. Hey all, I have been looking for a thread for the NJCU cohort for 2019. I finally found it! I received the email in regards to when we should receive a final decision. April 15th cannot come SOON enough!!!! I am trying to be realistic, considering how competitive these programs are. I have been denied as well as wait-listed for other schools. I was accepted into Ramapo. Right now my back up is transferring into Ramapo's generic nursing program if I do not get into NJCU. I do prefer njcu because it is shorter, 12 months instead of 18-24 months at Ramapo. Wish you all best of luck!!!
