  1. Malpractice liability insurance is only required for RN that are getting their bachelor degree
  2. CPR training must be for health care providers and must be certified by the American Heart Association. The background check you must do with castle branch. The package there also includes the drug test. You will print a form and have to go to one on their lab to give/collect the pee sample
  3. Don’t worry. If you get the minimum in the other part of the Hesi you are In. The department don’t care about your score in the Hesi, but you need to do the minimum that they required there. If you got the minimum and gpa 4.0. 100 % that will be accept
  4. This is the letter that they sent in April to the accelerated students. It’s probably the same for the generic program, but different dates.
  5. They do all the communication by EMAIL. They send the letters to your personal and Lehman email.
  6. Hesi - Reading, Math, Anatomy - minimum of 750 critical thinking - minimum of 800 They only check the gpa for the science pre requisite course. The science GPA is what they used to select and the students on program. If you get the minimum on the Hesi should be fine Check out the application form: http://lehman.edu/academics/health-human-services-nursing/nursing/documents/application-bs-nursing-generic-accelerated_1A_000.pdf
  7. Don't think so. The uniform is required for the first day of class; they didn't say anything for the orientation. I'll wear normal clothes.
  8. Hey. I created a facebook group for our class. We will spend the next 15 months together. I think will be easier to keep in touch with all... We can share material and help each other out. Please, only for people that have been accepted to the accelerate program Summer/2019! Look on facebook for: ABSN - Lehman/19
  9. Lehman only looks for the GPA for the prerequisites in the science courses. You need to be a current student in order to apply for the generic/accelerate nursing program. I also started on Hunter. I did a few prerequisites there, then I transferred to Lehman (it's really easy btw CUNY schools). I just got accepted into Lehman Accelerate program. Class starts on June 3rd.
  10. Yes, gpa for the prerequisites
  11. You should be in too. Better call and verify. I know someone with GPA 3.75 that was accepted to the program
  12. Yes, they are communicating by email (personal and school). What is your GPA?
  13. Does anyone have the textbook PDFs for the Nursing Program? I have been accepted for the Accelerate summer/2019. I really appreciate any material or insights from the program. Anything you wish you knew before start the nursing program ? Thank you
  14. Yes Lana, I was done with all prereq by fall/2018. I’m taking 269 (community health) now. This class can be take before or after the admission to the program
  15. I just got an email from the Nursing Department. I have been accepted to the Nursing Accelerate program!!! I'm so happy ? See attached for the email
