For those of you looking for other programs, I applied to Ashland University in Ohio. That was the only program that didn’t have a deadline that already passed. You can apply through nursingcas.

I was offered a spot. I really can’t believe it because I had in my head that I wasn’t going to be accepted. Did anyone else not get the attachment for the deposit?

Which schools require a deposit by today?

I know!! I really hope we hear today. I have looked at other programs that start in the fall with a deadline that hasn’t passed and if I don’t get in I need to enroll in a nutrition course by tomorrow in order for it to be done before the program starts (Ashland University in Ohio). At this point I will go anywhere?

Thank you so much for posting here! After being accepted, how many days did you need to dedicate to school things? Did you have an interview, orientation, physical, etc? I work full-time so I’m wondering how many days I would need. Were you able to get financial aid and if so how much was given in federal aid without taking private loans? Lastly, is BLS certification required? I am only CPR/first aid certified and I know most schools require BLS and it usually states that on the website but don’t see it for NJCU. Thank you!

I don’t see anything for prerequisite GPA. My application has CAS grade but not verified grade for my prerequisite. The only GPA i see is for individual schools I’ve gone to and cumulative GPA

@sdagurl7 it is a cumulative score of 80%. I know from last acceptance to this program those who had a low HESI score were waitlisted. I also have a low HESI score, so I am a bit nervous. I did not do well on grammar -_- I guess we just have to wait and see...

@sdagurl7 Try and have the transcript sent to nursingCAS ASAP! If the school does electronic transcripts, it should be done in a few days. Good luck and don’t be discouraged

I submitted my application on 2/11 but didn’t know I had to send my transcript from a university that I didn’t take prerequisites at. I ended up doing it 2/25 because I called and they said they needed it even though NJCU doesnt. The transcript was received electronically 2/26 and yesterday I got the email that said my coursework was verified. My application initially said complete, even though they were missing a transcript. It now says verified under application status.
