Does anyone know if the cohort is full or if they are still taking people off the waiting list? Also, any idea what the last alternate number that was accepted?

I wonder when they are going to continue adding people from the waiting list? I called last week before MJC announced their acceptance list, and I called again today to see what alternate number they were on. Last week she said #14 or #15, she wasn’t sure. Today she said #14. ? There have been at least two people that said they sent emails giving up their seat..? The anxiety is real!

Something else to think about is that every BSN program has different prerequisites. My best friend went back to get her BSN, she already had her RN, and she ended up having to take 3 semesters of Spanish, as well as all of the Nursing courses. Going for your BSN right off the bat would ensure that you wouldn’t have any other obstacles like she did.

I’m not Andrew, but I would say that the program that you graduate with the BSN would be the best choice! So I would say the CSU! (assuming that it’s a BSN program!)

Oh man, that’s a tough one. There’s no wrong answer here... ???♀️ I would go with Merced, just because you already accepted the fact that you would be commuting. BUT MJC is in your town. Hmmm. I don’t know, girl. Good luck and congratulations!

We can agree to disagree! My opinion about the programs that “only let a certain amount of people in” is that someone has to take the seat, it might as well be me. Lol No matter what choice is made between MJC vs. Delta, there is no wrong answer. Congratulations to all! ?

Awesome! Congratulations! Its incredible how much time high school sports take up! ? And it’s great for you to be able to enjoy her last year playing water polo before you have your nose in the books! Water polo is a tough sport. You should be a proud mama!

That’s true! There is always options to do it online, but as I understand it they allow you to push forward right away with your BSN, rather than waiting to jump through hoops for other universities. It’s just my opinion. By the way, I earned my bachelors at Stanislaus in another field. It’s a great campus, and very safe. The students and faculty are all awesome.

How are their clinicals “better” than MJCs? The bridge program offered by MJC makes it more attractive to me... I can only imagine that the only reason why this wouldn’t be a deciding factor is if you were not planning on continuing your education after earning your adn.

If I had the option for both, I would go with MJC, hands down. The bridge program to Stan State to complete the BSN is a major deciding factor and the campus is safer. Delta would be closer for me, but I would still accept MJC over Delta, no doubt about it. I’ve also heard that Deltas program is very unorganized, I haven’t heard anything negative about MJC.
