  1. From your experience last semester, did they generally send out acceptances all at once or did it come in waves the following days? ?
  2. Hi everyone! I made a group me so that we can all stay in touch and stay informed with any updates /info that we may need! For those that are interested, please feel free in joining! ? Best of luck to all of us these next 2 1/2 years!!!! You're invited to join my group "TAMUCC FALL '19 BSN" on GroupMe. https://app.groupme.com/join_group/50490739/HN5HNh6F
  3. IM SO EXCITED FOR US YOU GUYS!!!
  4. Can we make a Group me guys!!?!?
  5. OMG I GOT IN!!!!!
  6. So does anyone know if ELINE still requires interviews for acceptances or did they chuck that?
  7. HAHAHAHAHA THIS COULD NOT BE MORE ACCURATE
  8. Yes oh my gosh! I actually applied for TAMUCC's face to face BSN program because I was told that the eline program required an interview so I was worried that it was more competitive so I took the leap and applied for the face to face one instead. Ideally between the two, I would hope for Prairie View's program since it would allow me to stay in Houston. Did you apply for any other program girl? Besides Prairie View & TAMUCC, I tried applying to UT Health in Houston and I'm contemplating if I should consider applying to HBU and University of St. Thomas as a plan B.
  9. Hey! I saw that you commented on the forum for Prairie View A&M's BSN program in Houston! Did you end up applying? I applied and they said decisions would be sent by end of April or early May! So if anything, we would be hearing back from TAMUCC first before Prairie View since TAMUCC says their decision letters would be sent mid April / late April!
  10. According to my academic advisor, she said decision letters would be sent out mid April to late April via email! Almost there guys!
  11. Omg yesssss! He says it pains him badly too ? your stats are awesome though! ? Did you apply to any other programs? When I took my HESI for the first time at Lonestar, I made a 85 and that's the score that I have to apply with ?. I retook it a week after using UT Health's school code at a different testing center and made a 90 but I'm not eligible to use it since it's not after 60 days ☹️ Hopefully we can be in a fall cohort together at one of the campuses!!!!
  12. Aw thank you so much! That really means a lot! We really appreciate it! We did not plan on starting nursing school together funny enough ? His overall score for the HESI was 97 and the score sheet calculated it as 3.888/4. What brought his overall score down was a B in ENGL 1301 if not for that, his score would of been much higher than mine!
  13. Hi everyone! My brother and I have been lurking on this forum for some time now and have finally decided to chime in! Along with lonestar, my brother and I also applied to UT Health Cizik, Prairie View A&M, HBU, A&M Corpus Christi, and looking to apply to TWU and St. Thomas later on for Fall 2019 as well. Looking forward to hearing from everyone in April!!!
  14. So when I called UTHSCSA's school of nursing the next day after people said that they received invitation invites by email, I was told that all invites were already sent via email and if you didn't receive one, you were not selected due to either not meeting the requirements (not meeting the minimum GPAs or missing a class), late transcripts on NursingCas or TEAS scores. So I requested to speak to one of the admissions director to understand what I missed exactly that prevented me from receiving an interview invite. I spoke to Jennifer Aguilar and she informed me that I was missing Chemistry 2 and if not for that, I would of received an interview invite since I met all their GPA requirements☹️ She said that UTHSCSA requires that ALL math and science pre requsites HAVE to be completed prior to applying and I was not aware that UTHSCSA required chem 2 unfortunately. So I have no choice but to reapply for the spring once I have either taken the clep exam for chemistry or finish Chem 2 before August 1st for the spring deadline. So my advice would be to call and ask if one of the admissions director can review your application with you! With that said, good luck to everyone who received an invitation invite! Please let us know what the process is like and what we can expect once we apply for the spring! Thank you in advance!!
  15. Congrats to all of you for getting the invite! I really do hope they send out invites in waves but from what it sounds like, it sounds like you all got them at the same time.
