  1. Haha I’m sorry I totally misread the date you posted this. Congratulations!
  2. I applied and was accepted. What about you?
  3. Hi! I thought I’d throw up a post for those that have been accepted, or waiting on acceptance to the PN Spring 2021 program at Southern Crescent. Just to talk, about whatever really and the program ahead of us.
  4. Thanks for all your advice. I think I got 140 but I find that hard to believe ? I added my scores of 49, 29, 27 and 35 together and got 140. ?
  5. I assumed it was some cap like that. I saw about preregistering, but I didn’t know who to email since I haven’t gotten through. I bet you did great yourself!
  6. I really hope I can pass it. It’s crazy how little info is online... I was going to take it the 31st but sctech just took that date from the site and won’t answer the phone so might have to stress til September haha.
  7. Thank you. It’s easy to stress about things, especially since the psb covers topics that none of my core classes did haha. Do you know if they combine all of the scores from the subsets into a final score? (I.e 40 in math, 40 in the others and all those combined make 100+?) the scoring break downs I’ve read are confusing
  8. I’m applying but I haven’t taken the psb yet. I have a 3.95 GPA though.
  9. Right! I mean I understand too, cause I work in healthcare too but you shouldn’t just dip haha. Maybe she had a bad day.
  10. Lmao I visited a resident once and they were delirious and trying to rip out their catheter and trying to bite me. I asked the cna for assistance because the resident was getting out of bed and she gave me the same line, left and never came back.
  11. God, we have had so many bad nurses at my nursing home. Two are sleeping together while married to outside parties, work 16 hours daily but aren’t allowed on the same unit. Why? Because they caused 4 cnas to quit because of how uncomfortable they made them. They are both aggressive and rude, constantly fighting with nurses and cnas. The female got in a screaming match over the ice pitcher not being filled during med count with nurse S, and the male came from our other unit to fight with Nurse S for his gf. He always calls the don for nothing, and asks her to make people “respect him because he is their boss!” both were cnas at this facility but won’t touch patients without double gloving, or at all. Both sleep all night long but report people and lie about them just if they don’t get along. We had another one that came to work drunk constantly. I asked why they hadn’t fired her and got told “we can’t fire someone for that, we can only offer assistance “. currently we have one that is clearly high and always has med count off. She did not check her fragile patient at all during a double and the patient died. She said she didn’t know what to do about their low o2 and the other on duty nurse had to run and start the code completely.
  12. Hello, thank you in advance for any replies! I've tried searching around and on this site but haven't had much luck. I heard me About censa college online, but read somewhere that you have to pay the tuition back before being allowed to sit for the nclex. I tried looking at the site but I can not find online classes nor anything regarding the tuition being needed to pay back before sitting for the nclex. Im wondering if anyone knows whether that's true or has personal experience with the school?
